To all responding here.
The topic maker has made it very clear. The person values Soumya's outer look alone. That's what the TM is trying to establish and it's quiet fine actually. Because each of us are entitled to our own likes and dislikes.
The person thinks Soumya is good for Yuvraj because Soumya is beautiful. Simple and straight. Let's all leave it at that.
To the TM,
Criticising Soumya is the other people's right. Calling her characterless or ugly or plain old selfish or any other word that clearly describes her character right now does not make it bashing. Her looks cannot redeem her to us unless she redeems and apologises to Suhani, her mom and other people she has hurt.
So until then she remains a characterless ugly person to us who owns a beautiful outer shell.
And it's not Soumya alone who is being criticised. Yuvraj, Pratima, Dadi, Suhani. Every single one of them has been criticised at one point or other for their mistakes. This is character analysis and that's what the forum is for.
Thirdly, Soumya cannot act because Soumya is a fictional character who is being bought to life by Neha Yadav. Neha Yadav is doing a good job at that and Kudos to her. I personally believe you need a lot of guts to portray a negative role and Neha is doing a great job at that.
Soumya and Neha are different and we accept that. Soumya the character is unlikeable not Neha the actor.
Borrowing this statement from another IF member - Our hating Soumya is an appreciation for the talent of Neha Yadav. So Neha Yadav , once again applause to you.
Bashing is when you get beyond these words and really mean and start getting the actor and character confused.
I haven't seen a person here doing that.
So ignore our opinion if you don't like them. We are entitled to ours.
Finally, this back and forth might just get us all banned. So let's be civilised in our opinion stating.
