is suhani clingy?

I have got to say todays episode I noticed that when suhani is insecure and doesn't understand things she become clingy and tries to force herself on ppl and expects them to behave the way she thinks they would. Her behavior 1st with yuvraj where she is demanding to knw what's on his mind bt she can clearly see that he doesn't want to talk bt tries to force him to and than his reaction was as expected. And than her little sad routine and the pathetic background score was like abit laughable bt the acting was perfect by SaRaj and especially sahil. And than the whole somu food scene again I get she doesn't understand what's happening with souyma and she wants to get her bff back bt her friend has changed should she not accommodate that change? Like why not make a salad for her instant of something she is claiming for weeks to hate and laugh at. There is such a huge gap btw what she thinks these 2 ppl are and what they actually are and sometimes when she feels like they are going away from her she wants to grab onto them and force them to be the person she thinks they are. Although I think that the way she sees yuvraj is the way he actually is bt he doesn't show it much. Bt today just watching her was watching some1 half dead especially her scene with yuvraj she looked drained, she felt drained, her voice didn't have the usual happiness to it and she just seemed like things where finally getting to much to her, the words, the nastiness its finally coming full circle. If this is how she reacts to finding our souyma didn't tell her that she is getting a divorce and a small bit of insult from snaky and dadi. I cnt image hw she is going to handle it when she finds out the truth that her somu was trying to not only steal yuvraj from her bt also hates her. I think they probably dnt need to tell her ab yuvraj being in love with souyma just go to the part where her friend hates her and this girl will be done for. Certain times when a person is this joyful when life hits them hard they not able to manage much.

This is typical Hindi serial female lead behavior. We can see Anandi, Gopi etc all doing this...Suhani means well but yes her goodness gets the best of her sometimes...she becomes blind to people's faults too because of her extreme care for them...and she has this caring mothering side to her and that clingy behavior is due to her mothering people and wanting to fix whats wrong with them, and feed them, and make their pain go away...instead of realizing they need space...with Yuvraj though she should be used to his random mood swings and really he's so unpredictable that I don't think she knows when to back off and when to take interest...today when he snapped , it was unexpected even to me as a viewer but I think Soumya's behavior cannot be explained and it has now become the norm for her to suspect Suhani and shun her, rebuff her efforts so Suhani does need to get the hint and back off.

This is our country.. If someone is upset or angry we don't leave them alone.. Consider it good or bad that's one's own choice

PS I think that's good.. As it develops relationships eventually

Its always nice to read your posts. I have left watching for sometime. I come every now and then to read updates or just check forum. I decided to watch the episode today, but was in a shock. I don't know if Suhani is clingy or not, but her behavior is very similar to a girl I know in real life. Very pure hearted and doesn't understand any kind of malice. Of course she is real, so her situations are not as dramatic as Suhani's, but I always tell her that she has to be practical. And she believes from her heart she is practical. What surprised me is once someone truly hurt this girl and was very mean the very next day the same person was at receiving end and this girl runs to help. I asked her why would she do it, she said "it didn't hurt her as much to be a victim, but it hurts her deeper to see someone in tears." I also, notice that she doesn't have the norm behavior that if some one is mean or bad to you, it would register in your mind or heart and then you behave with them accordingly, but this one nothing registers. The slate gets cleared every second. She genuinely loves people who are mean to her.

Often, kind hearted people lack day to day conditional thinking. Their emotions are at whole different level. I think Suhani's character is like that.

However, Yuvraj is normal. Why doesn't he see things? I hope he keeps his candle on as it just turned on in his head and behave accordingly. Please CVS give some spine to him. But I truly wish Suhani first gets a life before she is someone's wife in true meaning.

An excellent question, sandi! Didn't see this before but it was a much needed post. 👏I think Suhani's repeated badgering of people like Yuvraj and Soumya, even after they hurt her is doormat behaviour. We get that Suhani's an angel on earth, but every human being goes through emotions like anger, jealousy, irritation etc. Suhani never gets angry at Yuvi and Somu even when they deserve it.

@bold- There is a definite disconnect between the way she perceives them and what they are, especially with Soumya. With Yuvraj, there is this outer layer of arrogance which cloaks a kind heart inside, whereas with Soumya, it's the opposite. I got really annoyed in yesterday's scene where Suhani was picking out Soumya's clothes before the movie. She totally ignored Soumya's hysterics and her rudeness. Wonder why she doesn't give it back to Somu Maharani. 😡 Suhani actually doesn't know the real Yuvraj and Soumya. As you said, she is eager for them to be who she thinks they are but she isn't familiar with all facets of their personality.

Suhani needs to have some of her own priorities in life because right now, her whole life is based on the relationships she has formed. She is only concerned with making them happy and has no sense of self. This is why she can be too pushy and be obsessed with pacifying Soumya, Yuvi or anyone else. However, I remember her not paying attention to Pratima at times, so don't know whether it's an inferiority complex where she chases people who shun her.

I get where you are coming from, but in this, I respectfully disagree. I don't think Suhani is clingy. A clingy person is aware of the other's displeasure and yet persists. Like Saumya. She is aware that Yuvraj doesn't give her much attention and yet she persists. It doesn't faze her when he repeatedly insults her, nor does it when he makes his intentions clear. She does this because she doesn't respect what he wants. Since her declaration of love, not once has she asked Yuvraj what he feels about her. Instead she plows on, content in the knowledge that it doesn't matter whether Yuvraj loves her or not, doesn't matter whether he is willing to forgo his relationship with Suhani or not, what she wants, she must get.

On the contrary, Suhani doesnt understand why Somu is behaving thus with her, and hence she tries to make things as normal for her as possible hoping that she would get back to behaving with her the way she normally does. She feels that Saumya's rejection of her is because of the fact that she went to Krishna's house to patch things up. She tries to cheer her up with all her favourite foods. We are forgetting that this girl knows saumya since childhood, knows her likes and dislikes quite well, and hence she feels that irrespective, Somu will get back to her normal pakoda loving self. She is not exactly oblivious, but she refuses to believe what her mind is telling her because her heart cannot fathom or acknowledge that her best friend, the same girl she has grown up with, shared so much could turn into such a self serving biatch.

As for her behaviour with Yuvraj, at this point, they happen to be best friends and so she feels he would share with her what he feels. Notice, that once he makes his intentions clear and tells her he is going for a walk, she lets him be, while with Saumya, he turns away from her without answering and yet she persists.

I feel Suhani is genuinely nice and maybe a little too trusting, but she isn't clingy.
