It was a nice scene and I'm glad he was there to help but I don't think he would be considered an outsider. Bhavna is his sister in law (sali) and Rishi is his cousin. If memory serves that is why Yuvraj and family were at Bhavna's wedding because they are related to Bhavna's husband's family.

Plus I think he already was suspicious of him from the one episode I watched when he was at Suhani's parents house and he saw Rishi there. It looked like he suspected something but they never actually took that scene anywhere.

@pink- Absolutely! Yuvraj beating up Rishi was such a soul-calming scene to watch. 😡 he got what was coming. Just him being in the same scene would creep me out (Credit to the actor). I felt my entire body crawling.

@bold- Parm, I never understood why Yuvraj was the only one who picked up on Rishi's perversion. Why Bhavna's parents didn't understand it just beats me. He used to perve on Bhavna in front of them and they never got the signal. Even Suhani couldn't understand it, when she is shown to be quite good at reading people (only when it serves the storyline, of course).

I'll never understand it either Charity. I can only think perhaps when they were younger that Yuvraj may have known what kind of person Rishi was??? Other than that I can't come up with anything and CVs seem to not want to clear that piece of info for us. I still can't believe that Suhani never tried to find out what Bhavna wanted all those times she tried to call Suhani when this whole Rishi thing started. You would think she would have noticed her sister was not herself...

I think you are mistaken on the 'knowing Rishi when he was younger part' because Yuvraj and Suhani never knew each other before the show started; meaning, they never interacted in their youth. I think it was just an easy ploy by the CVs to make Yuvraj the saviour. It's not like other people, especially Bhavna's parents and her own sister are dolts who can't tell, but it served the storyline at that point, so the CVs thought, "Whatever".

Suhani's lack of concern for Bhavna was really strange and out of character but maybe the CVs were trying to depict that even loved ones don't notice signs of abuse at times.

It was shown that Bhavna's husband was a relative of Yuvraj and that is why Yuvraj and his family were in attendance at Bhavna's wedding in the first place. So, I was just assuming since they were family that he may have known the kind of person Rishi was from childhood..

I found Suhani's lack of concern very strange too considering her character and also her closeness with her family. Her sister tried to reach out to her numerous times but Suhani just kept putting her off, until eventually Bhavna just seemed to give up on that front.
