Thank you for making the search bar smaller at the top of the page, it was looking terrible, now it looks good! But I don't understand how to use it.

Also, Titli forum still not open. But the threads are missing from TV Hindi forum since past 2 days?

Hey Mods, The enter/return key to go to the next para is not working when I quote posts through my phone browser.

Please could you help in getting that fixed?

Can we have another set of mods for yrkkh forum? Current mods are openly biased towards one set of fandom. Example of the same

- They close one set of posts without any note/or put note like "closed due to multiple reporting". How does it make sense. If a post isn't offensive how it can be closed?

- mods engage with one set of fans trolling /bashing characters. They watch the serials hence actively involved into fandom drama.

- people are rampantly abusing report buttons, abusive towards one set of fans, disruption from topic of post is everyday occurence. A set of fans abuse will tu Tera kind of language. They will bring religion and other sensitive topics to justify their points and hurt sentiments. No action taken for this as of now.

- there is a identifiable gang of 10-12 people in every posts tagging other each other and always making sure any discussion topic is closed. It seems that they have not gotten any warning for their posts but other set of fans have.

- there is no clarity which posts of ours are so offensive to warrant warning. It's just randomly given without any justification. Is it a one sided court?

Do you have any examples of where mods have closed threads by saying "multiple reporting"? This is not the case and we would like to see this.

Please note that the report button and the reports are only visible to mods so I'm not clear how you are saying it is being abused. In either case, let us worry about that. If you are seeing posts that are breaking rules, then do use the report button and let us deal with the reports.

Additionally, when those set of people come and target an abhira fan post, then don't respond to them. I know it's hard, but just don't engage. Instead hit the report button and let the mods deal with the issue. That way your topics will remain open and these set of people will realize that they can't get under your skin and will slowly back off.

Think of it this way. They are picking a fight with you and you are engaging with them. If you don't engage with them, then they can pick a fight all they want, they'll come out looking bad. Then instead of your topics getting closed and you getting warnings (and I mean that in the generic sense), it'll be those people who will get the warnings and getting their posts removed instead.

The mods are not biased. They are dealing with the reports and issues that are visible to them. You do need to think of it from their perspective as well. They are 2 mods and they are not on IF 24 x 7, so they deal with what is visible to them with the hopes that members are also sending issues their way.

Let's work together to keep the forum clean and if you still have complaints, then I'm there as the Channel Moderator. Bring them to me in PM and let's see if we can't work out what the issue is.

Your post is like let folks attack me and my life and I should just shut up and let the report button work. Abhira fans have already left forum, made their own group in twitter /insta or private forum and having discussion. Even if there is any posts made in main forum it's detailed in no time. folks don't even go to anti posts, it's our posts which are getting attacked. Are you saying we should keep quiet then as well? We tried btw . Which didn't work since last 6-7 months when influx of these new folks have started. There are posts in forum where one set of folks get berated by mods, other set of folks have their fun everyday. It's very discouraging. It's like mods don't care about people having any healthy discussion, just come and close posts and not even check the issue behind.

I have full empathy for you guys you are doing unpaid work and getting dragged into daily drama. But i can't sympathize with this as you have taken the responsibility and failing measurably. I can even say this daily harrassment and bashing have started since gen3, almost 1,1.5 years back. There was no mod back then i guess. Actors getting body shamed , abused for their acting, their fans getting attacked was a daily occurrence. Those og folks have left and when they try to make any posts they are trolled. We finally have mods but it's again very biased. It's telling that you are replying to me and not the mod who is roaming in the forum.

I am here on IF since years and i love the platform cause we can have daily discussion with our different pov. But i havent signed up for harrassment from one set of folks and mum moderation. If you can do something, great. If not, well what's new. IF is dead and people will leave, it's clear higher ups don't care about traffic in this website. There is no creativity, no freedom. Just stifling moderation.

@ Red: We will make it a point that threads are closed with proper notes going forward.

@ Blue: Not at all. What I'm saying is to ignore the posts that you feel are negative and attacking you and report them instead. When you ignore them and move around them, then we can deal with it more effectively because instead of closing a topic due to pages and pages of fighting, we're removing 2 or 3 posts that could have caused a problem.

@ Green: It's not telling at all. When issues are escalated in such a public format or because a group of people believe mods are biased, it is standard practice for the CM or GM to step in and respond instead. We aren't there dealing with the everyday issues, but rather ensuring that all forums are running smoothly and member issues are being dealt with effectively. We are there to ensure that all mods have the support they need and aren't being attacked. That's our job. Hence why I responded instead of hinz or oh_nakhrewaali.
