Would like to know the tech happenings of this site behind the scene since IF was down for this long

There was a big technical snag in IF webpage.

Now it was rectified, and every thing is in normal condition. 😊

Thankful to our Administrator Vijay and Tech staff for working so hard for almost 4 hours to bring it back. ❤️

A few minutes ago, I logged in, and almost immediately, pages stopped loading due to a Cloudflare timeout. Then, without logging out, when I opened the Forums page in a new tab, I saw the Log In and Sign Up buttons along with a list of Private Forums.

Are logged-out members and non-members supposed to see even this much of Private Forums?

Right after I saw this, pages began to load promptly and I didn't have to log in again.

For forums above 100 members and which are Free to join (does not require approval).

On request from Forum Creator to make the forum Public, we are reviewing those and if it is content rich, not chatty or +1 posts and follows forum code of conduct we are giving these forums the option to have it search engine indexable and viewable to all users without login.

Rest feature remains same like member need to join to participate in that particular private forum.
