Chat Option in IF

Hey guys.

I know there's a PM option available in IF and I'm grateful for that. But sometimes you want to talk to just one person like chatting on whatsapp where the conversation doesn't seem to pause with send and wait for the other one to respond, you cannot keep tab on your own chats. And the other one's kind of get lost too.

And I know there's a CC thread available in forums but that's not where you can talk to just one person like a PM. It's not personal.

In a personalised chat, You can see where it's going. Also, you can chat for long, which is difficult if not impossible in the PM option.

So, basically, I'm looking for something that is like a combination of these two. Where we can chat with another person freely with the facilities of both and without the restrictions of a PM and Chat Thread.

I would like to throw this suggestion here and hope it happens. Is there anywhere else, where I can make this request and hope that it will be considered.

They have been hinting on this feature since time immemorial but in this regard nothing has been launched yet

I believe Scrapbook, slambook and testimonials could be used as such.

You can chat using these. And you can restict that only buddies can see your scrapbook, we used to use it a lot, these days I think not many people use it but it's fun.

yes, those features were used a great deal in the past and it was huge to get messages from your friends over there
