Maybe your image is too large, otherwise

[IMG]http://web.adress.of.picture[/IMG] would have worked.

What is the link you're using? If you're using something directly from Google it won't work sometimes. Upload to either http://imgur.com or http://minus.com and then use the direct link from there in the code [ IMG ] direct link [ /IMG ] without the spaces.
