Its an open secret that the mods are BIASED. Whether is because they are young and have no clue or whether they are biased is debatable.
Recently, I made a post in the Pavitra Rishta Forum. Rather it was a joke as I watched the show after a VERY long time and I was trying to re-connect with my friends.
However, I was given a WL raise and told that my post violated Rule #7 (btw these rules arent even stickyed, so for me, I had no way of even knowing them.). Rule #7 says I was abusive, made derogotary comments and that I was sarcastic beyond a 'limit' which could be( and was) held against me.
What I am outraged about the fact that, these words arent to be flung lightly at someone. Its an SERIOUS accusation. I am pissed because, I have taken care not to hurt members sentiments and speically not attack anyone directly. I know who have been cyber- bullied by these 'fanbots' and the rules werent applied then. As a result they left the forum. As a matter of fact, many of us here can vouch for that.
I tried speaking to the mod, WHO hasnt replied back and herself, has 'liked' many witty but sarcastic and attack worthy posts. So she knows the difference. YET she chose to target me and act in such an unattractive manner.
I understand the rules, but if mods are those whose sentiments are hurt by jokes, why do they even volunteer to become one? Better yet, if they cant be impartial and see beyond the post and what its trying to convey---> DONT BE A MOD.
I have had great experiences with some mods, who understand a member and deal accordingly and those who blindly throw the rule book at members cuz they are a) biased b) clueless. They should be kicked out ASAP.
Specially that Pavitra Rishta Forum needs a better set of moderators. They ones are completely BIASED and UNWILLING TO LISTEN and UNCOMMUNICATIVE.
