Your Favourite? Week # 2 Part 2 updt @ Pg 2 16/10

Oh Mine was Manasi hands down😆
Oh so today we had all the performances in one day ( so me wondering what will they do tommorrow...Play Himesh Reshamiya and Anumalik back to back😕) ...and I think Sumeet and Vikas Bhalla were too good...
Sumeet sang one of my alltime favourite song...'Tum jo mil gaye ho!' and it is supposed to be one of the toughest song by Rafiji!!! and Vikas sang his forte.. 'Maayeri' by Palash...(My dear Phoolwa aka Siree's fav song😳)

But ofcourse Manasi again took the cake and the marks too...She sang a male voiced song and that too by the legend Nusrat Fateh Ali khan ( Btw I just came to know...Courtesy Anjal aka humari Anjumanju that Rahil Azam, her costar in Gulaal, Rahil Azam is there in the video album of the song 'Nahi lag da dil mera dholna'!😛😆...And boy did she look Pweety in the white dress😳...And As Alisha said...she did sing like a Godess...and looked like one in the white dress...


Sachinji was good..but I think Alisha's judgement was more balanced when she said about the Sur ...his notes were not that bang on and it was his sheer energy that got him through...

Neha's sur were also not spot on...but the surprise package was Chhavi...She did higher up her voice and quality too...she was steady and quite spot on...but although her voice did not ring out quite strong...Her voice needed more naughty conviction...

About Ragini too I felt that she had used Falsettos which was not necessary..she has that naturally namkin voice...A kind of voice which even when used as 'throw voice' wouldnot look bad..she needs to be herself (My POV...no offence😳)

I had not heard Mrs. Chaudhary so am just skipping🥱

and aha!! Manish Paul...Well I forgot what he sang..after seeing his daughter...So whatever he sang must be sweet...just like her...and I loved his love story too...sooo cute!!!😳
Btw ..I just noticed that except Ragini...everyone in teh show is either married or engaged😆eventhough most of them...(except Sachin and may be Sumeet) are quite young!😆

Yup..srush..she is reserved..n as u said she was standing away from others..😳

But last week..she was feeling free..n d way she sand d Udi song is totally diffrent from this week's performance...I saw a lil bit of sweat on her face..😆

Not watched all the performances but hands down Manasi was SUPERB!!! Sur, taal, performance...you name it and she delivered!! I really liked the way she accepted Anu and Alisha's comments...I mean she is brilliant and yet there is a bit of shyness and so much humility...very very nice!!

He he he...yesss...apnaa Vasant (Rahil) is in the actual original Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan music video...I thought it was worth sharing that piece of information...😳

Manasi was undoubtedly the best singer of the show so far. Both her performances last week and this week were brilliant. She chose the most difficult songs and rendered them so effortlessly and precisely. Not only did she look like a million bucks. She sang like one too. If she continues to sing this way, she deserves to win the title. I was impressed by her all rounder qualities - an actress, a singer and a free lance photographer! Way to go girl.


The weakest performer is undoubtedly Debina. She was both out of tune as well as out of rhythm. If the two primary requirements of the song are missing what is left then? The judges really had a touch time to say something positive and praised her beauty instead. Even the 12 marks she got seemed too generous for her pathetic performance of one of the most beauty and seductive numbers in recent times. Unfortunately this is not a beauty pageant but a singing show. The only positive was that we got to see Gurmeet who had come to support his wife. He was looking smoking hot in black. I hope viewers vote according to talent and not fan base for it would not be fair on the other participants if she continues at the expense of any of the others.

Ragini should have sung in her own voice. Her nasal singing sounded very weak and shaky. It is not necessary to imitate the voice of Lathaji to be able to sing her song. One can make any song their own by singing in their own voice. I also felt that the song was pitched very high and was out of her normal range. A better song selection that would suit one's voice and range would have made her performance sound better than it did.

I've not heard the other performances yet. So can't comment.

man as usual i would have to say the best are mansi, ragini and sachin sir...the rest are not upto the mark...and manish ruined such a beautiful song sung by my jaan...the great living legend Sonu Nigam...but thats beyond the point...loving the show so far and hoping to see more great performances from my three faves...
