Panjavarnam asks the police to release Jeeva as she is not willing to file any complaint against him. Ponrasu is furious at Panjavarnam. Panjavarnam then humiliates Jeeva saying that he has been released because of her. Jeeva thinks about the dishonour he has brought to his father.

SIVANKAALAI'S ADVICE TO JEEVA | CHAPTER 1 | EPISODE 8

Annamayil is glad to see Jeeva home. Sivankaalai advises Jeeva to grow wise enough to make decisions on his own, and that his honour can be retrieved only when the goats are brought back. Panjavarnam explains Ponrasu that she ployed to get Jeeva arrested. What happens to Sivankaalai's goats?

Panjavarnam's brothers manage to escape from the police, and shift the goats to another village overnight. While they try to sell the goats the next day, Sivankaalai's men attack and stop them. Sivankaalai and Jeeva return home victorious, with their goats. The family then prays together

VENNILA SEEKS SIVANKAALAI'S HELP | CHAPTER 1 | EPISODE 10

Ponrasu blasts Panjavarnam and her brothers for failing in their plan. Karna vows to humiliate Ponrasu and creates a scene outside his house. Vennila calls Sivankaalai and seeks his help to calm Karna. Sivankaalai asks Karna to return.

SIVANKAALAI CONFIDES IN ANNAMAYIL | CHAPTER 1 | EPISODE 11

Sivankaalai advises Karna and tells him that Ponrasu will repent and reconcile with his family one day. He confides in Annamayil about his wife and his promise made to her. Annamayil reprimands Pandian, Selvam and Jeeva for returning home late, while Sivankaalai rejoices on seeing their plight.

Finished watching last weeks'. Good going so far. Sivankaalai a very strong & wise character. So nice to see the love that he has on his wife & following everything even after her death. Everyone is calling eachother Mama, Chitappa..hmmm. So confusing. Looks like even Panjavarnam is related to them. Ponrasu is just rocking. Semma accent & nadipu. Sivankaalai's last daughter is office Radhika I think. Their dinner scene was so moving 😳. Good to see their family bonding. DP looks so good in village makeup

Many are new faces at least according to me.

Ponrasu excels in acting. I think he perfectly fits the role. Devipriya too good in this village slang. Sivankalai too fits perfectly. Like the actor who plays mama to sk children's.

Too much of male faces in all the episodes. It's high time they introduce the heroine and show us some loudlylively scenes of the lead pair .

PONRASU FUMES AT SIVANKAALAI | CHAPTER 1 | EPISODE 13

Panjavarnam advises Ponrasu to not meet the collector. Ponrasu fumes as Sivankaalai and the rest of the village elders leave to meet the collector without waiting for him. The collector obliges to Sivankaalai's request to permit them to conduct the village Thiruvizha.
