I was thinking that before SS & i had seen pankit somewhere..but suddenly stuck in my mind that pankit had woked in Ekta kapor's evergreen old serial..Kabhi Sauten Kabhi Saheli as main lead..😲..i am like oh god that was one of my most fav serial @ that time...& how could i fogot pankit...😭

Pankit & anita's chemistry was damn good in that serial..😛

I was wondering WTH to happen ekta...she made such beautiful serials in starting of her carrer,,, & now..

so i was searching for KSKS & i got detail of pankit biography.....oh goshh he is one of brilliant actor of TV indutsry & worked in so many serials & with so many production house with different roles..👏👏👏

here is detail of him:-

Pankit Thakkar is an Indian television actor. He has acted in many television serials. His serials have been big hits. He is known for doing only one project at a time. He is currently working in the serial Dill Mill Gaye as Dr Atul Joshi.

Dill Mill Gaye is his fifth show for Star banner including "Kabhi Sautan Kabhi Saheli", "Special Squad", "Kumkum" and "India Calling". Pankit is the only actor apart from "Hussain" who has been consistently repeated by Star banner for various shows of theirs and it is more credible because other actors on Star are only working for Balaji camp where as he has worked on different shows with different producers.

Pankit played a helpless guy in "Kabhi Sautan Kabhi Saheli", played negative role in "Tu Kahe Agar", a romantic guy in "Tum Bin Jaon Kahan", a charismatic role in "Kagaz Ki Kashti, a stylish cop with blonde hair in "Special Squad", a very outspoken guy in "India Calling", a very charming and innocent guy in "Kumkum", a guy with a mean streak in "Twinkle Beauty Parlour", and now an adorable comic doctor in "Dill Mill Gaye",

You know what after reading this all stuff..After hiten tejwani he is my most fav tv actor, who experiment lot with his charcter & serials ..if you had not that Hiten was in supporting role in KSKS as Anita's brother..that means my both actor had started their carrer together..🥳

yeah agree that i didn't seen lots of his serial but it's great for 1 acto to change with time.. unlike other acor who stuck to thier role for 7-8 yrs & than gone..😳i

Seriously yaar... I never knew Pankit has done so much.... Wonderful naa? OPnly after someone reminded I remembered that Pankit had played a lead in KSKS.... Even I had watched that show... He was good! Other shows haven't watched.... But still he has had a great career... And he is good actor to concentrate on one project at a time and give time to his family too.. So sweet!

yaar serously...i was watching DMG today & he was so so funny & i was thinking how would pankit look in some drama seriease...i just remembred suddenly about pankit had worked in KSKS,,,i was like oh god...

KSKS was one of my fav serial, i missed its last episodes...but i liked him lot..gosh i wish star utsav repeat that show yaar...he was totaaly different from SS & DMG there..

Your Weak Point according to you: My naivety. I easily believe everything and everybody and take everything at its face value. That has caused me a lot of grief and pain.

Your Biggest Influence is: The biggest influence in my life has been my own optimism. I have complete faith in myself. That is why even when everyone had advised, even warned me against becoming an actor as they thought I would never make it, even my astrological charts seem to say so, I kept faith in myself and finally became what I wanted to.

If you could go back in time you would...? : I would want to born as a star son so that I could at least get a launch vehicle.

Greatest gift you have ever received: To be honest, nothing noteworthy as such.

First thing that you do when you wake up every morning : I go to the kitchen and make myself a cup of tea. It is something I like to do myself, as I am very particular about the way I have my morning cuppa.

Your best role so far: I enjoyed shooting for Special Squad. Sometimes, you click with everyone on the sets. Special Squad was like that. Starting from the spot boy to the camera person to the actors to the script writers, everyone bonded there. We had a fabulous time. Also, my the role I played in Kabhi Sautan Kabhi Saheli I believe had many shades to it, and its very close to my heart.

Working in Dill Mill Gayye has been : It has been very different, and very professional. Because of the tight shooting schedules, we have not have had quality bonding time. Everyone keeps to their make up vans if they are not shooting, and the atmosphere is highly professional and driven. I love it that way as I also love the time I get to myself.

One Quality that you like in your partner: The person should accept me the way I am, and that is exactly what I like in my wife..

A Memorable Moment with your kid, Rakshan: Once my son was watching a travel show and he was quite excited to see Singapore in the show. Later when I surprised him by taking to Singapore, he was really happy. I think this is the best thing that I have done for him till date.

OMG , i knew he has kid, but didn't know that he has son named Rakshan..😛😛cute name...WOW wonder hoe old he is??😕

Favorite Cuisine: Sizzlers, be it veg or non-veg and now whenever my family goes out, I always end up having sizzlers.

Any Song that is always on your lips: Main Zindagi ka saath nibata chala gaya…..

Favorite Movie Dialogue: Don ka intazar gyaarah mulko ki police kar rahi hai…….Don ko pakadna mushkil hi nahi naamumkin hai….Why I say this is because if I am not in a mood to talk, then I will never talk and it applies to everyone be it my family, friends etc.

Pankitt Thaker, who plays Atul Joshi in "Dill Mill Gayye", holds a very simple view about television serials. All that matters is the concept and not the hype, he believes. The actor talks about his experience of doing the new youthful show and how he gets along with his costars.

Your third serial on StarOne "Dill Mill Gayye" is doing well, what do you have to say about it?
It's good that our show is doing very well and I am very excited about it. A lot of people believe that only a certain genre like the saas-bahu sagas works on television. But our show is very different from other shows. So that proves that the genre doesn't matter, it's the concept that counts.

How did you bag this role?
I went through an audition. I had already worked with one of the creative directors and we knew each other.

All you young actors have got a lot of footage from this serial. Do you thing you all will be able to live up to the expectations of the audience?
Frankly speaking, I have previously done bigger shows, like "India Calling" and "Special Squad" with StarOne, which was much talked about. Before that, I had worked with Balaji, so this hype around "Dill Mill Gayye" doesn't really affect me. I have seen all this before.

How similar is your reel character of Atul Joshi with the real you?
It's an absolute contrast. In real life, I am an introvert, very reserved, who likes to be left alone. On the other hand, Atul is very light-hearted, juvenile and an extrovert.

Did you face problems in mixing with others on the sets because of your reserved nature?
The problem with me is that I don't open up easily with anybody. I am a very reserved guy. So it was difficult for me to gel with others even though I wanted to. I took a lot of time to open up. Now, I have struck a rapport with all. Personally, it doesn't matter to me who are friends with whom. I totally depend on my vibes. If they are positive, then only I make friends. Touchwood! people here on the sets are really very nice. If I don't like someone I would say that in the face.

Any funny incident on the sets that you can recall of?
There are plenty of them. You can ask the girls about it, they will tell you all about me. They keep telling me that I am very funny, which actually I am not. That's what I find funny.

What other projects are you currently working in?
Next up is a show with Cinevista on Zee. But there is time for it. So I don't want to talk about it right now.

What can the audience expect from "Dill Mill Gayye"?
You should not expect anything from serials, you must simply enjoy them. Today, this show is being hyped, tomorrow some other show will be hyped. What's important is to preserve the essence of the show. We are doing that. Even if some other new serial hits the block, the audience must stay back with us.

What are you very passionate about?
I am passionate only about acting. I even read books to enhance my acting skills.

What would you like to be known as by one and all?
As an actor, no second thoughts about that.
