Few words about Ramayana adaptations

Today this show is going to end so I thought to share few things.

I always have a disappointment that no soap/movie did justice to Ramayana. Even though few previous works did well, those were failed in two things.
1. It didn't follow Valmiki Ramayana but later adaptations.
2.It used to glorify Vishnu more than Rama.

when Skr was announced, I'm so curious to watch the show because its trailer was so amazing. Even though Skr started with promising note, soon it fallen under 80's,90's typical story. Without doing, SKR is the best example of how to distort an epic.
Definitely it isn't about creativity liberty, I'm never against creativity.But CVS intended to show their superiority by distorting how Rama and Sita could've done.Of course, So called Feminism filled in every single thing. I think no one can degrade Ramayana more than this. still this soap was cool with some group of audience.

Mata Sita was inspirational to follow but sadly she ended with fandom who likes to see their lead in every single frame without analyzing whether it's necessary or not.I agree Ramayana talks more about Rama than Sita.But no Ramayana reader will find Sita was inferior to Rama in virtue. Though Sita had less portion than Rama, she was believed as equal righteous as Rama. Every feminist must feel proud about that.But what to do?Getting more scope become more important than being Righteous.I want to say what I fell about what are the things Ramayana adaptations and arguments making me upset

1. I'm never against the people who doesn't believing Rama as God.in fact, I also want people to read Ramayana for moral study.
whether it's religional or mythological, whether it's history or fictional, it doesn't matter. what I believe is Ramayana needs such a analysis to enrich our behavior.
in fact that's why I couldn't connect with previous Ramayana soaps. Most of them projected Rama is Mahavishnu so he can't be wrong.but Ramayana is a story about a man, king, son, husband, etc. Though Ramayana never denied the fact Rama was the incarnation of Vishnu, its more about manhood.

Rama was so righteous thatswhy he attained such a status, not because of he was Lord's incarnaI'mn. if that so, one must know that Krishna was ashamed for what he done in Kurukshetra war in MB.

i won't say that one must blindly accept Rama's all actions. His actions also open for anaysis. An ardent Rama follower me too have few disagreement with his few morals.Rama strongly condemned atheism but I believe atheism is people's choice. Even I too can't follow all Rama ideas,so it's understandable that accepting his actions isn't easy to everyone but what I can't digest is how some people showoff themselves as Extreme righteous by poking Rama's debatable actions.

Rama was King, he had powers but he sacrificed his marital togetherness for street gossiping though he wasn't at no fault.
He wasn't like our present people who keeps their position though their crimes were proven.He believed That king must be clean and conscience else people wouldn't obey his orders. if people didn't obey orders, then kingdom would fall down.

That's why His region called as RamaRajya.if he used powers to control who have different opinion, he wouldn't become Ideal.

if they think Rama was wrong, then what's the problem even if he was wrong at few places.
Adam Smith was wrong ,Pascal was wrong, Newton was wrong. many legends were wrong still they made their name in history because they were the first one to break typical ideas to drive new path.

Adam Smith was right until Marshall arrival. Marshall was right until Robbin's.
Robbins was right until Samuelson theory. But everything started with Smith's that's why he called as Father of economics.

in future Samuelson theory may also become wrong but no one can drive theory without smith.

Similarly ,Ramayana is believed to be the very first historical note about a king's actions and political science. It must be right on those era.
Rama's few actions may seem unrighteousness based on today scale. but if we started to change source based on today scale, trust me tree can't grow with root.


I know Original Ramayana was shaded by later Ramayana works Still I believe that one day I will watch Real Ramayana.

I know this topic might get moved to distortion thread.Mod, this topic isn't about creative liberty nor comparison with previous shows. it's my honest opinion about Ramayana. I almost stopped posting comments and topics since I couldn't connect this show with Ramayana anymore.As a daily soap forum, this forum had many people's opinions.As its a Ramayana adaptation ,I believe this forum will respect my opinion and Ramayana
Worshipper's opinions.Thank you.
