Guys today we are celebrating our 70th Interdependence day. The day on which we got physical independence from our colonial masters British.

But did we get emotional independence. The oldest surviving culture on this earth, belongs to us. The knowledge that the rishis and munis knew surpass the modern western science. How many of us have tried to understand our roots. The knowledge our country beholds.

Irrespective of being independent why we still want to be in US and UK to get respect. Why does the land that gave birth to you doesnt deserve the respect. Why are you ashamed of being a part of this great culture and always want to escape it.

On this Independance day atleast make an attempt to go to the past. Understand who you are. Understand where you belong. Understand the greatness of the culture that you are part of. Once you know what it is, use the modern knowledge to bring that old glory back to your country. Let the knowledge shine through in the times of this darkness bringing a new dawn not only to our country, but also to the world.

Sruthi di, I knew you would do a post today! Its true, we always run after physical freedom, but if we don't have emotional freedom, every other type of freedom is worthless. Mahatma Gandhi understood this, so along with encouraging people to fight back, he gave them emotional strength and knowledge.
