Guys making quick post. If you remember I had talked about ripple effect. Do we know all the reaction our action results in.today Bali curse is classic example of ripple effect. Bali never intended to insult rishi. But the way he throws dundubi ends up in insult.it happens because Bali in his anger uses all his might and throws asur at a distance he cannot see.if he had patience he could have killed asur in his sight of vision.same with us.in our anger we might do things that can harm someone though we didn't intend it and we have to bear the consequences of that action

Shruthi, but the curse proved to be a blessing for Sugreev and that again in turn proved to be another link for Ram to finish his mission. Sometimes curses do work as destiny or a boon, doesn't it? Parikshit was cursed to die in a few days, he used the time left to listen to Bhagvatam and in the end got moksh instead of mere death. Arjun was cursed to be a woman for some time, He used it to his advantage for the 'agyaat vaas'.So basically it is God's will that prevails over either blessings or curse.

Yes Savitha. Yes that curse became a boon to Sugreev. And yes I wanted to put Arjun's curse. It is upto you how you make use of boon or curse. Arjun makes the curse a boon and Kaikeyi turns the boons into curse.
I always say Arjun's glass was always half full. And that's why I could always connect to him so well.

Absolutely right, did bali die due to curse or did ram kill bali, because he took hold of surgreev wife.

@mantu that curse is what helps Ram in the end. Because without that curse Bali would have killed sugreeva in his anger. Taken hold of Sugreeva's wife also.
Though SKR shows Sugreeva getting the skill to fight asur sena from ruma's father, what make sugreeva the ally for Ram as per the Ramayan I have read both Valmiki and Rajagopalachari is the fact that the knowledge of all directions as he runs to escape from Bali everywhere before settling rishyamooka.
If you look from SKR perspective that curse is the beginning of fall of the great plan of meghnad to estrange the brothers in such a way so that one is killed.
