One question - will Ram and his brothers return to Ayodhya before Ashish's entry? 😕 When exactly are Ashish and Madirakshi entering the show?

If they're trying to show appropriate ages of the actors, then will the teenage Ram be the one going with Vishvamitra to Mithila, seeing Sita, winning the swayamvar, and wedding Sita? It'll be accurate as per the epic, but if that's the case then they should show a teenage Sita soon on the show, because it'll be so weird seeing teenage Ram winning this child Sita in a swayamvar.

I was under the impression Ashish would make his entry before Ram and his brothers returned to Ayodhya.

Because Ram and Lakshman don't stay long in Ayodhya before Vishvamitra comes. They're 15 at the age of their return home and 15-16 when they leave with Vishvamitra, kill some demons and go to Mithila for the swayamvar.

Ashish tweeted that he is shooting "tadka vadh" from Darjeeling

It was a week ago

Now he is back in Mumbai

And Madi is shooting for past few weeks in Hyderabad

So Swayamvar will be shown with Ashish and Madi

So how will they show the transition of teenage Ram to adult Ram? 😲 Ram is only 16 at the time of swayamvar, he didn't spend years in Ayodhya after leaving Gurukul. He only spent a few months at home before leaving with Vishvamitra for Tataka vadh.

I guess they're going to show Ram spending several years at Ayodhya before leaving with Vishvamitra, though it'll be inaccurate.

If we go by logic

I don't think any of the Ram shown till now

in Indian television looked like 16 during swayamar scenes

Leave at all 16 they didn't even look like they are in 20's

few even looked like 30's😆😆

No, they weren't.

Arun Govil was 28 years old at the time of swayamvar in 1986 Ramayan.

Gurmeet Choudhary was 24 at the time of swayamvar in 2008 Ramayan.

Gagan Malik was around 30 at the time of swayamvar in 2012 Ramayan.

Ashish I believe is 31 and he'll play Ram in the swayamvar episodes soon, although he looks more 26-28 than 31 in my opinion.

As for film Rams, I don't really care how old they were, lol, as their roles were very small and short.

I'm not saying the actors who play Ram have to look 16, since the swayamvar is a popular phase of Ramayan and no director is going to choose a temporary teenager for the episodes, but the number of years that passed in the show should be shown logically. I'd rather Ashish's entry be shown in the last year of Gurukul to show that many years passed of Ram's education, instead of showing that many years passed in Ayodhya after education, because they didn't. Ram literally went to Mithila straight out of Gurukul, he couldn't bear to be away from Sita Ma much longer. 😉 Ashish doesn't have to look 16, but as long as it's implied in the show that Ram was 16 at the time of swayamvar, I'd be happy.
