In that movie Preeti sacrificed her love Salman for Rani in a similar manner. She convincrd Salman (still better to confide than to keep in dark n hide) by proving that the only reason they could be together was that Rani n her family took pity on her n her dad so ignoring her happiness would be a sin n bla bla so Salman n Rani were going to get married n Preeti secretly left to marry another guy who loved her. But at the last moment her n Rani's phones got interchanged and a friend of Salman who was trying to call Preeti called Rani and blabbered how hurt Salman is and this marriage would make him a zombie and this marriage shouldnt happen since Preeti n Salman love each other n bla bla.

Rani got out of her delusions and asked Preeti's dad about her whereabouts (still not sure which girl wouldn't notice the absence of her best friend from her marriage) who after few excuses tells about Preeti's marriage

The entire family rather ensemble cast reaches the marriage venue and stops it just before the pheras and Preeti Salman get married. Rani gets Sharukh(guest appearance) whose wife was dead and he had gone mad post that and felt Rani to be his wife (Kuchh Kuchh Hota Hai epilogue kind even had the same daughter who was there in that movie)

Okay rani baag kar shaadi karne jati hai but ladka dokha dedeta hai so she attempted suicide or sayad accident ho jata hai, Salman saves her life but woh coma me chali jati hai, everyone misunderstood him as rani's husband. Rani is from rich family so it's easy for him to get succeed tho woh bhi sach nahi batata. Fir pretty ki entry hoti hai. She is childhood from of Rani. Her father's work for Rani's father but they never treats her like servant's daughter but as own child. Dono ne kabhi farak nahi kiya. Jho bhi buy karte hai dono same. Salman falls for pretty and pretty to fall for him. He told her everything and they were happy with each other. Complication tab start hoti hai jab rani hosh me aati hai and didn't reveal the truth to family because she already fall for salman, coma ke she can't move and talk but hear and see everything (yesa hota hai kya?) she saw him how he used to talk to her and tries to make her happy etc etc. Rani father announce their marriage. Pretty wants to sacrifice for her friend cum sister. Rani father get to know about it from pretty and get emotional. He choose rani's happiness over pretty and let her go. Pretty father was proud of her. Madam kisi aur se shaadi karne jati hai, As dono ke har item same hota hai tho dono ke phone bhi same hota hai so that got exchange. Salman call pretty and tell her how much salman loves her but Rani sun leti hai kyu ki phone uske pass hota hai na tho she heard everything, sab ko sunati hai, apne baap, pretty ke baap. and sab pretty ke shaadi rokne jate hai, they stop at the last moment and happy ending🤣
