Yeah, you are right. Th only other ITV show I have seen that a separate and substantial character arc for its male lead too.

And I don't know if you remember but we had a slight disagreement during a discussion where I called Ruhaan a prop. Ye mauka le leti hoon to clarify (and apologize if you found that rude) that I meant it in a non-negative way in the sense ki uska alag track nahi hota hai.

Are those scenes counted, when he used to secretly look at her or he used to be so ecstatic whenever she gave him slight attention? When she thanks him for Ansh, he is so surprised & happy. When he secretly looks at her on her bday. Dining table pe b when she apologises for her behaviour, his expression 😁

Oh yeah, if looks count then the way he was looking at Mishti during the Holi party was pretty intense as well

He got more chances to perform as Ruhaan but omkara was an enigma and he had individual importance till the show was good.
