I feel exactly same like you for this character and what to say about rohan's acting but just like others i never like his acting in this show or in DSDT since day 1.

The CVs really need to do something about his character if they want us to feel sad for him.

His dialogue delivery could be one reason why you find him boring,he delivers in the same tone and his diction is not clear.

wese bhi.. the only way mishaan can get justified is by turning veer negative.. i can see the desperation here.. 🤣

We surely don't talk about Veer more than Mishaan...and WE don't have to turn Veer negative; he's doing a great job of that himself. And lastly Mishaan have not done anything for which they need justification😆😆

I see.The whole scene seemed so strange to me.Veer dropping in with his parents without informing anyone, bringing packets of cards that no one seemed to be expecting..lol..

What I felt for Veer is disgust!🤢. The character is very superficial, not sure if the character sketch is such or the actor is making a mess of that character. It seems like he was given many, many lines to memorize in one go, he did it and regurgitated without putting his soul into the lines or his character. Most of the time, I can't make out just what the heck he is talking about, or what he is trying to get to. Let me try and explain:

While he was talking to Pari and Ruhan in the parking lot, he was still complaining about how unreasonable Mishti was. Bhai, what REALLY was your problem? Was it her unruly behavior towards Ruhaan, whom you are claiming as your BFF recently? Or was it her revolt against you? 😡It seems like he couldn't digest that fact that Mishti would go against his wishes, and acts on it. So, she needs to be taught a lesson with a mammoth tantrum, black mailing with silent treatment. The absolute worst and the most powerful weapon he got, ignoring your loved ones repeated pleas with no care in the world about their emotional well being. He needs her to get down to the lowest level of pond scum before he would let go, relent and be appeased. Bahut khoob😡No wonder nobody raised a peep when he was dictating which people should be doing what while HE wants to enjoy his time before his wedding, BECAUSE THEY ARE ALL WORRIED ABOUT ANOTHER MAMMOTH TANTRUM. Kahin, woh again rooth gaya toh, and walk out on them if they disagreed to his " fair" imposition of his work on everybody around him? What if he said again" who are you guys whom I don't know, who wouldn't agree to whatever I am saying. I can't believe I am even engaging with guys like you who won't let me dictate" and now goes off on a " business trip" abroad and be unavailable for everybody to fester and rot away😡Bahut anarth ho jayegaa. That is why, everybody kept quiet. Just imagine, say my siblings come to visit after the birth of our child, and owing to the new demands of motherhood, I throw a fit, how does it sound if my husband takes over and says to my sister to take care of the responsibility of the baby and my brother to take over the household chores or vice versa, but conveniently leaves himself out of this to " spend quality time " with me? Kyun bhai? Usko kya ho gaya? Why didn't he take up Mishti's share of work for the wedding? Why does he get to spend quality time before and after the wedding while others work their behinds off? 😡I can understand somewhat about her projects, but I would have bitten his head off if he interfered with my profession. That is another matter, all together.

Veer is like that pesky pest of a highhanded, big mouthed colleague in your office, who would volunteer your services in a big meeting without your consent. Yes, she/he will take on this task/ patient/ student/ client, she/ he will be the absolute best performing this task and/or I have immense faith in him/her to do this task😡. I know you have the right to speak out and protest, but realistically speaking, owing to the meeting etiquette or other unspoken rules, you won't be able to. They all shut up after that, because they all just tasted his nonsense and how he dragged Mishti through that crap. He is also your very stereotypical male figure who elevates himself or feels good about himself, by making fun of others or belittling them, be it telling Mishti not to be a spoilsport or ridiculing Ruhaan as he brings water or belittling Mishti's concern for his mom's health. Why the hell does he think that serving water or food is a specific task of naya naveli dulhan only? Isn't that just minimum decency afforded in most households?

The guy is just too superficial and talks a lot of nonsense. He is somebody in real life I would totally ignore if he were in my circles. I think these people are putting up with him for nothing😡My opinions only. Not sure if they made sense.

Athai, please keep them coming. Loved your analysis.

I am so lost regarding Veer's character that I don't know whether to be upset or frustrated with him.I find jokes related to gender extremely inappropriate and I also hate people calling shots on my behalf,on those grounds I am having a hard time giving a clean chit to Veer.Again, his out of proportion reaction to Mishti's outburst was also confusing. Had I been in his place,I would also be upset if my fiance had created a scene and misbehaved with my friend but then to leave my fiance on the road while he keeps on calling me,to not take his call throughout the night and next day makes no sense. The whole argument was so forced and the whole situation ridiculous.

But then again, this is the same man who does not mind her kissing someone else as a dare, is okay with stripper's presence in her Bachelorette party, let's her be most of the time, so I don't get him.

I don't understand if he is kind or mean, dominating or submissive, easy-going or complicated, short-tempered or amiable, etc etc.

Well, if and when they do something that deserves criticism they should be criticized, but up until now, Mishaan have not wronged Veer or anyone else in any way. And what they do has nothing to do with how Veer's character shapes up, his sketch is his.

I still can't understand why Mishti is going overboard with ghunghat and all in front of Veer's parents but as I said, the main problem lies in his character sketch. The CVs needed a decent fiance who loved Mishti despite whom Mishti fell in love with someone else. However, they did not want people to reject the couple they want to focus on and instead support Veer like they supported Mauli. In the process of balancing both, I believe they made a royal mess.
