I have clarified my stand many times, from what I understand here the meaning of "Soulmate" is restricted like everything else, if you want to understand something you have to go by the context of author's post. I clearly stated that they lived and died together not romantically but as friends. There was a lot of bad blood between them due to their past but destiny always brought them together. They are soul mates for me, It doesn't mean they have to be for you...

For me it's not what happened 6 years ago but what happened in those six years. A pregnant , broken Mauli going through what should have been the happiest phase of her life alone on the other hand a happy Kunal shifting to US with Nandini staring a new life with her . Having kheer and enjoying romance every day whereas Mauli trying to just get over her pain everyday. These scenes were never shown but for me are more haunting then what were shown. For me more than what Kunal did it was his compete neglection of Mauli's pain that made him irredeemable.

I'd have understood if it was mentioned as friends or something else.. . But maunal as soulmates even if it's for you, sounded a very undeserving adjective. I respect others opinion otherwise especially yours, even about maunal fans grudge against Ishaan, but this was some thing I couldn't ... Coz Kunal might have been anything for Mauli, but not a literal soulmate...
