You know how people find it weird when Kunal cares for Mauli. For me it is the opposite. It is weird when he didn't care for her because that was abnormal. If you think realistically, it is almost unbelievable. You don't stop caring for someone you loved so much just because you have a new fancy. Especially not when the person was your other lovely half for so long. So similarly it is not weird for me that Kunal might have feelings now, it was weird that he wouldn't. Weird when he didn't think of her. Kunal was madly in love with Mauli at one point. After the affair reveal he was hurt when she wanted to divorce him, was hurt when she kicked him out of their bedroom. He was hurt when she called their love a lie. There was a thing in Shakti's interview that he kept getting pulled to Mauli one way or another, there were eye locks. Eye locks need participation from both sides, so Mauli wasn't doing it alone.
i totally understand what u mean.. i could never accept when he didn't care. that was abnormal. that was weird. that was lame. that was so selfish of him.. it was heartbreaking to see him like that but it was equally weird..
but i can not ignore what he did , he went berserk for nandini, he went deewana, and even till now he says he was in love and was right.. i never cared about off screen things like what gajra said, what aditi shakti are saying and even promoting as as a viewer i should focus on what is been shown in the episodes.. but since u r talking about interview then let me tell u there is this voot video to promote #ItsNotThatSimple where shakti aka kunal says that kunal was in love that time.
and i didnt accept this bcz of voot video. nahh!! kunal said this to me .. where he says "main bhi sahi tha. tum bhi" .he caresses nandini's picture he says all good things about nandini to mauli and to pari.. nandini was his manzil and i believe he still feels that..
i can not dismiss all he did for nandini pre leap and post leap nor i can dismiss what he did with mauli. it was weird it was unacceptable but he did..
that is something which is so extreme that they can't rectify it by showing sudden feelings for mauli.
@car scene -- u really want them to not feel anything that moment?? its was simply awkward.. there were no romantic feelings.. any other ex pair would have behaved the same way..
As for the journey, I guess we both need to give up on it. I am so disappointed in them. I know Mehek is here to show that look he has a perfect option available who would fit him just right but he doesn't want her. As for his feelings for Mauli...aah so disappointing. But let me try to find the moments that made me feel his feelings are there. Ah this is hard. I guess the hand touch in the car, the hug in the kitchen, the hug in the tent. Basically any time you heard yeh silsila play, especially when they played the male version of silsila was when Kunnu baba was developing feelings for Mauli. Mauli did so much for him. Took care of his Pari, made her soup, had lovely conversation with him, continued to hide his shameful affair, remembered his birthday and surprised him (which he said she is always better than his expectations), then confessed she still doesn't hate him but loves him...Don't know how a man is not supposed to melt.
