Why would Kunal even want to come back?

Kunal doesn't love Mauli anymore. It's pretty clear that he has wronged her but he doesn't love her. Even for the baby, he was willing to take responsibility but not leave Nandini completely. So, even if Nandini dies, he will to live with her memories and his daughter and he would do so since he claimed to love her whole-heartedly. Kunal trying to come back to Mauli will butcher him more and prove his divine love for Nandini as a mere passing affair. Even if he thinks of rekindling old romance so that child could have a mother, even that would butcher him and demean his so called divine feelings.

I also feel he has no reason for wanting mauli back...if it happens then itll be like he neither loved mauli truly nor nandu..lol..

He would come back to Mouli for the same reason he left her: "pata nahi yeh kaise hogaya. kyu huwa, kab kuwa. bas hogaya. Juzzbaat toh juzzbaat hai"

have thought about it.. kunal wouldnt want to come back to mauli since its over for him. and i am sure if nandini had died then he will surely not miss mauli and his family but nandini and only nandini..

there can be many possibilities.. like initially kunal and his daughter living their own lives , away from mauli and family until he gets to know that mauli has a daughter and the daughter calls maulis friend popsi.. 😆 he would probably think mauli has moved on and is married to ishaan.. then at some later point of time he will get to know about mishti being his blood..

i think kunals daughter will be just like nandini.. naive damsel in distress types.. but of course kids are actually naive and she cant be selfish like her mother . and mauli's daughter will keep helping the other kid just like mauli did to nandini..

kunal's interaction with the kid will also be shown . probably not as his daughter but his daughter's best friend/friend..

kunal may hate mauli for hiding the truth and mauli may stop him from seeing her kid.. they may drag this thing to court and we may see ishaan's role here in supporting mauli and thus the story will proceed.

ek angle aur bhi ho skta hai .. kunal will be all sad and lonely after nandini's death and may not look after his kid and pay attention to her.. may be hate her if she was the reason for nandini's death. like a complicated pregnancy or something.. the kid will be alone and longing for his love and attention.. but will get support from mishti and motherly love from mauli.. some regular visits to mauli's house and getting along with them. and then mauli stops the two friends from meeting each other after knowing the truth and kunal also does the same. but their friendship makes them meet agaun and again

lol i know i am assuming a lot but there can be so many reasons for kunal mauli to meet again and again..

but there has to be solid plot for kunal getting back to mauli..

i think its gonna be so early for us to watch kunal regretting..

i agree it will take time to see him regretting or admitting that he wronged mauli..

I think the initial connection would be the girls. When he left he was pretty sure that he had left Mauli behind so if they show him falling instantly or even regretting his time with Nandini than that would be butchering his character. But if they show it was coincidence that they meet again then that would mean he actually did not miss Mauli and was happy with Nandini memories and the kid. That would be in line with the story that they projected in the first phase and his character.

Also as they made sure to tell us time and again that Nandini was his destiantion then logically they should show him pining for her for ever but this is drama and that too ITV. i hope that they show a gradual realization where he does it step by step and not like the first time where it was first sight for both of them. Same goes for Mauli if thats route they take where she does it step by step and refinds those reasons/ qualities including the new ones which might have happen, due to him being a single parent without any support system, to rekindle those feelings in her. There will be bitterness for sure but time heals all wounds and also make you realize your mistakes so Kunal migh already acknowledge that he had wronged Mauli and that might negate the bitterness he might develop for her lying about the child.

I would like the child to be the only connection between them with no romance, may be friendship for old times sake but I know it will not be so. I hope at the end of this phase we see Mauli leaving to her new house for new adventures and Kunal reunited with his family after proper redemption and remorse for his actions.
