Mauli will have become a top doctor with having focused and worked hard on her career, and kunal will be a lonely looser who will reflect on his feelings, actions etc with mauli and nandini in mind, having realised that he loves mauli and what he had for nandini was not love, but he only realised this when both the girls left him, but his heart pined only for mauli in that loneliness, and it was memories of mauli that clouded his thoughts the most. So from then it would be kunal's journey of redemption, rediscovery of his love for mauli and whatever else they want to show. I would love for this to happen, but I know these writer's won't do this.
