More than this so called Divine Kheer love for Nandini I feel Kunal is running to Nandini to bolster his ego before Mauli. Kinda rubbing it in that see there is a woman who finds me indispensable & worships me. This resentment is obvious in many scenes & hence his sulking & running to Nandini. For eg the way both Mauli & his mom want nothing to do with him. The scene where she says in a matter of fact manner that he can kip in the guest room. But this anger & resentment is more obvious during the key scene where she says she doesnt care where he & to whom he goes. That second u can actually see the hurt & anger on Kunal's face. It's like how dare u puncture my ego. 1 of the main reason y he keeps running 2 Nandini. Mauli in her anger had expressed this perfectly during the post revelation episode. She mimics Nandini by saying Kunal ji Kunal ji Kya chahiye Kunal ji, kya aap ko sar par bita loon...
Nandini makes him feel like a man because he is a weak man surrounded by beautiful, strong women in his house (his mom, wife & to some extent even Dida). So he keeps Nandini around him more to boost his ego & feel stuffy/self important.
Hate her but off late even Nandini is showing some spine but this guy 👎🏼 What a waste of space 🥱
