Have not seen her previous works...but Nandini is dam irritating... Drashti is beautiful and carries her outfits well but Nandini is pukeworthy...
Her shivering and crying is now beyond tolerance...

It is not DD's problem
The character Nandini in poorly written
She is doing justice to the role given to her
I hope to her reducing crying and shivering though but CBs must be asking her to do that

Not commenting on DD but Nandini - really annoying shivering and crying and beyond belief helplessness and obsession - moronic character who for some reason believes that just because Kunal had s*x with her, all his other relationships including his mother and grandmother, should disappear from his life.

Really want to give this pretentious selfish woman a few slaps

I have followed Drasthi since DMG days and she's someone who has amazing screen presence and i find her a good actress. With Silsila, i definitely feel her acting has been limited perhaps due to really poor characterization. Be it in Geet or Madhubala, her emotional scenes have always been on point. But here i find them cringe worthy. I guess this is the makers's way of portraying Nandini which sucks honestly.
And like someone pointed out, I find Shakti to be the weakest among the three. DD and Aditi are doing great.

the shivering has always been part of Nandani's anxiety, I don't like that people make fun of it because it's almost involuntary. There are a lot of things I do when I'm anxious, tapping my foot, peeing a lot (lol ik) and my tummy growls, it's just things that happen reflexively. I think Drashti is doing a fabulous job but I also think the poor writing is limiting her because she can do a lot more.

Every actor has their own way of essaying any role. Having said that I would still state, the whole poor writing of Nandini's character has impacted a lot!!!

LOOOL 😆 i spit out my food at the SRK part!! Imagine Nandini saying all her lines like him and spreading out her arms too hahaha

Not talking about anyone's acting because I am not an actor.but reading the comments for few days ND just couldn't stop myself from commenting.
So dear janta of India forums this serial I just want to ask have you ever felt fear in your life ever?a person who is constantly living in fear does shiver.making mazak of a person who is constantly living in fear when someone will harm her does not suit a mentally healthy person.
Now coming to the serial if ur husband cheats u with other woman I would rather like to blame my husband not the other woman.and moreover just leave him.my life is not depending on my husband when I am a fully financially independent ND also there is not a child related to it.if there was a child ND I financially dependent on my husband then the situation would be different.

Drashti excels in comedic acting amongst other things but in my opinion, her weakest area is hysteria. Unfortunately, Nandini is poorly written and hysteria is more or less all she does, so all we see of Drashti these days is bad (and overdramatic) acting. She has done emotional well in the past but often escalates it into (unwatchable) melodrama by talking too fast and, yes, shaking a lot.

I think the writers have also been overindulgent with jumping straight to hysterical reactions for Nandini and so we see more of the same style of acting from Drashti in every episode - it's gone well past ineffective and now truly veered into annoying.

Well as a first time viewer I quite like her acting actually. I feel she nails the emotional scenes and was excellent today. The shaking and trembling has always been part of Nandini's characterisation as an anxious weak abuse survivor. Only a very experienced actor could get the role right and DD has managed successfully to bring whatever soul she could into Nandini. I feel people can be very ignorant when stating things like why Nandini keeps vibrating or trembling. I have actually worked with depression patients first hand and I know a lot of these are actual symptoms of people suffering from both anxiety and depression, When we can be so sensitive to Mauli and her pain it wouldnt hurt to be a little more sensitive to Nandini's anxiety and trauma too. It is not that she is wantedly doing it. She IS in depression and has been for all these years. So why do we expect her body language to be like that of any other normal person?
