At present I see, care, unconditional love & loyalty from Nandini's side which Kunal doesn't seem to reciprocate at this point. To an extent there is underlying guilt of the fact that Kunal was thrown out of the house because of the affair.

For Kunal her character is very consistent & in other scenes it's very strange.

Nandini was going to leave the city for ever. Why does she not do that now? I mean why go back to the heel-whole in self-loathing & self-pity only to invite abuse, especially after she boldly said that she wouldn't return to him ever.
