This is an usual thing . Whenever audience are feeling bad for Mauli , the makers would forcibly include a scene where Nandini is abused ..

So she gets d sympathy as well .

Giving her a reality check will not evoke sympathy for her from the audience.. The way Mauli broke down am sure those wives watching at home will be supporting her fully despite what the makers are trying to shove down our throats.
