I think the word they used in BP was wrong but zoya didnt justify the affair she just wanted closure and was more willing to accept that her husband fell in love with someone else and she herself was not the best wife. Reading the diary humanized the cheaters for her and why they fell in love also its different when the spouses that cheated are dead and you cannot confront them. Zoya felt the affair wasnt some tawdry thing but those two truly loved each other were gonna leave them and make a life together. I think she also wanted closure for the sake of the good times she and adi had had with their exes coz not all of it was horrible at least in the start. Its not like all is forgiven and forgotten zoya now has major trust issues and questions her judgement and is scared to love again. When she said that word adi also got his own reaction it wasnt like zoya was all right or adi was they both had to come to a realization things were somewhere in the middle and were able to get some closure for now.

Poosh affair was never defined as some divine symbolic thing it happened coz they were unhappy and we found out why it wasnt based on superficial things like wannabe martha stewart is more attractive to a man than his independent educated wife and the guy happens to be so goody goody bland lol
