Kunal have his secular time at last and as he settles in his own company he finds Nandini and her presence everywhere. Her image--- the moments he has spent with her and the way she has made him feel literally haunts him.
Whereas Nandini alone and dejected is encountered by her alter egos. They are nothing but her inner conflicted emotions holding solutions of her trouble.
Nandini is in dilemma. One lures her towards her love and the other chastises her and calls her to leave forever. Smashed in between desire and morale Nandini makes her choice.
She decides to leave the city forever so that she doesn't become the reason of separation between Kunal n Mauli.
Nandini knows if he tells them they won't ever let her go so she decides to do it all alone by herself. She doesn't pick up any of the calls.
(I feel this was a rather rash decision by Nandini. The Cvs could have showed it occuring gradually. It felt rushed and sudden to me.)
However Kunal is on his way to the conference when he gets the call. At first he tries to handle it composedly but when Nandini doesn't pick his call he becomes restless. And in that single moment Kunal gets to know what he Must do. He doesn't hesitate for a second. He decides he couldn't let Nandini go. He doesn't know where she is going-- to which city--- he has no clue. And allowing her to go will result in losing her forever that's all he knows. In no way can he lose her is all Kunal feels and like a mad man he rushes to his car which is most natural. When we know we are about to lose the person we love, we become desperate. At any cost we try to keep that person in our life and Kunal does the same.
But when Kunal doesn't find her in the flat he goes aghast, tormented, mostly running to the bus terminal like his life is at stake. There's a mark of desperation in his every action. He was dying to reach Nandini at any cost. He could have given his life to keep Nandini to himself. My aunty rightly said that this is the TEST of love. Piyar ki pariksha. True. I agree with her. Test for the most different kind of love.
While Nandini awaits her bus, she is still in two minds. After a lot of consideration Nandini finally makes up her mind and stands up.
Just then panting and beaten Kunal appears at the door. He locates Nandini and closes it. He is relieved.
Kunal is tired, devastated and overwhelmed with emotion. His feet give away and he sits down and urges in a resolute voice that she can't go. He won't let her to. --"Tum nahi ja sakti . Main tumhe nahi jane dunga ." there was so much authority and surity in his voice. He said it like he has the absolute Right to stop her and he does.
He tells Nandini how immensely he fought all the time against himself and his will. He speaks about the battle of his heart and his mind. And this is the first time that finally Kunal Nandini SPEAKS to eachother openly in complete sentences conveying their feelings correctly. They hide nothing.
Kunal says the emotions which feel so right cannot be wrong Ever. He tells Nandini he has tried to keep his feelings at bay by every means possible but he has failed in doing so. This was a tough battle for him too but at the end he had to accept defeat.
And as a result Nandini gives up. Gathering up her lost courage she admits that it is becoming impossible for her to avoid his Love. She tells how she never knew feelings could be like this--! Because whatever Nandini went through for the sake of love was painful and yet beautiful at the same time. It squeezed her heart out. She demands to know why he lit up hope in her heart and dreams in her eyes when she had never imagined to be loved by somebody in such pure sense. It isn't really a question but her helpless surrender to the EMOTION and the situation she had fought so desperately to deny. She never thought such a good man will ever come in her life and now that he has it is hard for her to ignore the temptation. Nandini is in dire need of love and Kunal has brought that rare thing to her.
So comes the much awaited part of CONFESSION. Kunal stands up and just like the gentleman that he is-- accepting his SIN, keeping the holy books as WITNESS, pronounces his deep LOVE for Nandini. This is the most beautiful moment in the entire episode. The scene-- the dialogues and the execution is excellent! The feelings are subtle and handled beautifully. Nandini knew for a long time that Kunal is in love with her so this wasn't exactly a surprise to her BUT this confession cleared whatever doubts where there in her heart about the love and it confirmed to Nandini that loving her is not a sin for Kunal. To him his love "zazzbat" is Paak .
There was No hug, Only Deep Emotions. And I Loved That.
And this is a two way confession. Both confess their feelings for eachother.
It is just that Nandini doesn't reply back like typical shows where the female always reply with -- I love you too." Instead she just stares with her tear stained eyes and gives Silence which is a POWERFUL reply. Kunal speaks for her and himself both. He becomes her strength and with that they hold hands to walk this new journey and face the world together.
This is the most rarest confession. Some will hate it and some will love!
The most natural acting we see today is by Shakti. DD was as usual good. 👏 the script, the editing and the scene was amazing! ⭐️
