I don't know where else to write this becauee it is about old episodes. Anyways, I am watching old episodes and Sujey is so underrated....the way he expresses is sooo good.
1. When Bharat is going back to Keikay and his mother stares at Ramji...Ramji smiles at her...then she walks away and Ramji suddenly gets sad. In my mind, I m like why are you sad; you are Prabhu, Bhagwan, don't be sad...but I also know he is in the avatar of a human so human emotions. But for the actor...what a great switchover.
2. Then when he is summoned to listen to the 2 promises...and Kaikeyi says YOU are the reason your father is sad...and its as if he is almost crying...you can see how sad his face gets...then Dasrath hugs him and cries and he too is sad & I am like BUT Lord, why do you weep. You are THE LORD. This is your divine plan. Then I remember that even MY KANHAJI also was sad after chakravyuh and Abhimanyu vadh.
3. When Kaushalya is angry and wants to pray to Sri Hari Narayan and Ramji stops her;
4. Admonishing/teasing Lakshman - to the extent that I felt "what if they were Kanhaji (Sujey) and Dau (Lakshman - sorry I dont know his real name); but the teasing scenes actually made me wonder.
Basically I can give so many such examples where I felt he was just so good.
What I am trying to say, albeit in a roundabout way, is that we are so lucky that we got such a good actor as Sri Ram. I haven't liked many SKT shows because the actors have never lived up to my expectations. Yes, even their most popular one, but this show is an exception.

And this isn't me simping...its just me appreciating.
