Background story - Sage Sutapa and his wife Devi Prushni perform tapasya to get Lord Vishnu as their son. Vishnu grants their wish three times. The first time, they get born as Sage Kashyapa and Devi Aditi, the second time as King Dashrath and Queen Kaushalya. The third time, they get reborn as Devaki and Vasudev.
