Indumati tries to convince Emperor Vallabhdev that Gayatri Devi was unlucky for Bharuch and it would be costly to dismiss the mendicant's warning .

However, Vallabhdev refuses to be swayed by the prophecy and asks Indumati not to believe the mendicant.

Vallabhdev meets Gayatri Devi and Dadda Chalukya. To boost Gayatri Devi's morale, Vallabhdev suggests meeting Gangsarvagya, the chief priest of Somnath temple. The emperor is optimistic that Gangsarvagya, with his ability to see the future, would be able to help.

Shobha arrives at the same time and tells Gayatri Devi that she received a flower in the form of Lord Somnath's blessing while praying at the temple. Dadda Chalukya believes it to be a good sign and decides to visit the Somnath temple.

Rudrabhadra is disappointed on his arrival in Bharuch when he fails to find any devotees to welcome him. He remains confident that one day Somnath's followers would start worshipping him.

On noticing Dadda and Vallabhdev with the royal entourage, Rudrabhadra uses his mystical powers and offers gold coins to the subjects. On noticing Shobha, he tries again to produce some more gold coins; however, he fails.
