Character's makeup

Since ep. 1, I am observing that male character's makeup looks yellowish and doesn't match their skin tone at all. On the other hand sati's eyebrows look painted and asymmetrical in shape.

I do like the way they have enhanced Shivji's eyes. But in yesterday's episode, I did see the yellowish tinge on his cheeks.
