I laughed so hard tbh. I wanted to immediately dress her up in a Maid Uniform.
Why is she so dressed with dignity?women are not meant to be Bosses they are meant to be Unskilled labour (if you don know that meaning, it's the type of work which isn't categorised for things which a skilled labour like an office employee enjoys. For example the helping hand of the house)
I also don't wanna degrade the job of PA as it also needs a degree to be in that position but Manmeet is serving nothing and Raj at the end want to shame her.
If anyone thinks whatever shown is Romantic, either they have Stockholm syndrome or doesn't know Love or Romance at all.
This is nothing but satisfying male Ego and Ego is a negative word in English. Pride is taken more into positive light.
I came to see a good modern storyline which normalises a strong independent woman but yaha to kuch alag hi chal raha hai. Soon Manmeet will be giving Jharu in Yadav's house, will wake up at 4am and cut vegetables though they are rich enough to keep helping hands.
We have successfully seen the Degradation of a woman in ITV, also her education, experience and past efforts doesn't matter at all.
Women are weak and meant to be stamped down if they hurt any man and reject him. That man should show she isn't capable enough to be called a boss and would look good doing traditional women works though she might have a fancy degree with highest scores. She will be ruled by some guy who failed in exams and dance along in Gucci with father's money.
It's funny how I came to fan girl this show in the first few episodes and now it's disappointing me left and right. What an ugly story of romance...
Also let me tell you one thing. The writers definitely forgot that Manmeet has a degree and is a brand name. They are showing her like typical female lead who is 18 with no education degree and they need to just show a storyline where she have to fall in love in the male lead who is a big businessman and that's why they give a small office track. There the arrogant business tycoon make her do all the odd stuff and then just fall in love with her. They are just trying to throw the story in a sample which have been shown from ages in every kind of serialđ¤Ł
