Jo bujh jaye wo pyaas, kabhi pyaas nahin hoti
Dil me uthti awazz hamesha sirf awaaz nahin hoti

Raah me chalte hain hamare kai humsafar magar
Jinse jud jayen dil k rishte aisi har ek me baat nahin hoti

Apni har taklif har dard hume khud hi sehna hota hai
Koi aur seh jaye apne gum aisi sabki takdeer nahin hoti

Kehte hain sabhi k dil me rehti hun main unke har pal
Lekin jhankun jab dil me unke kahin meri tasveer nahin hoti

Sath chalte chalte yunhi bichhad jate hain log aksar
Khwaishon k ehsaas k sath zindagi asani se basar nahin hoti…!!
