Does Rajat know that Neil loves Devyani? I don't think Neil has told anyone about his feelings for Devyani. Arreh, Bhai ko toh hi bata deta!
If Rajat knew, then I bet he would never agree to marrying Devyani because there's no way in the world he would do that to his own brother. I bet, his reasoning to Anu on why he can't marry Devyani would have been " If you can sacrifice your love for your sister's happiness then I would go to great lengths to make I don't hurt my brother.\
Unless Neil wants to be double mahaan, and ask his brother to get engaged to Dev because he wants Devu to be happy.
fingers cross it's nothing but Devyani's imagination and The only reason Neil is contemplating suicide is someone (cue Dev) told him that Rajat and Devyani love each other.
