I agree 50% of us are not in the mood of understanding Devyani right now while 30% are trying to relate to her actions because she was a character they loved and the remaining 10% are going with the this too shall pass syndrome.. So I decided to draw up a basic sketch of this phase of Devyani's life and this luveria bug that she is suffering from..

Well we all go through this stage when we like someone (attraction/infatuation/crush) and we think its love.. This phase comes with the entire hearts racing and intense daydreaming and heart searing jealousy.. Devyani is going through the same phase where she has told herself that Rajat loves her too.

It is also a phase where one feels they will die of heartbreak if that person doesnot return her love or loves someone else.. (This phase lasts till you realise that one doesnt die of heartbreak.. one moves on and looks back at the days with the 'omg i was a fool then' expression or with acute embarrassment. ) This is what Devyani will do once she is over Rajat

It is that time where one feels they can cross all the oceans for that person.. They are ready to forget all the boundaries because they think that person is needed for them to survive..But yea they get over it soon when they realize - that he is not oxygen/food and they are alive and kicking even if that person is nowhere in sight-- this was for the engagement track

So yea even though we get irritated with her right now, she is just going through a phase we all go in at some point.. it is overplayed because its daily soap and it needs to have the dramatic effect.. But yea Devyani is a positive character and though she is killing her own brain cells as well as ours, she will bounce back as the same old spunky character we know-- I hope😃

and while we are relating this to real lives, imagine this-- what would have happened if we all indeed got married to the first person we thought we loved????😲

That's really an intellectual Analysis of her teen mind set... Most of us getting frustrated and disappointed by her acts.. but.. Ya u explained her state.. I hope soon she gets over with it :/ I don't want anuraj to break

Great post.

Thanks Aashti for writing this. Coz you made me relate to Devyani more than before. She is very young to be judged hardly.

And the last question is very interesting. Alhamdulillah I didn't marry the first man whom I liked. It is scary even to think about this.😆

well written aashti I m trying to relate with dev... still I want her to come out of her dream world soon...other wise I dont like her bz I started dreaming of anuraj 😆

You know Divya, i just had this thing going on in my head ever since sbs..

And I think this is what might happen..

Devyani will see Anushka waiting up for Rajat and serving him food.. as seen in the precap.. She will think that Anushka has fallen in love with Rajat but since she and Rajat love each other (as she thinks) Anushka will feel bad but she will get over it,.. So for that she (Devyani) has to act faster..

She will extract a promise from Anushka that no matter what happens not to think badly of her or misunderstand her actions.. When Anu will promise her this, Devyani will create circumstances to get engaged to Rajat..

She will back out only when she realizes that Rajat loves Anu
