Shakuntala turns round to see Dushyant but red powder is thrown in the way so neither sees each other and Shakuntala runs away.
Dushyant's sister laughs and Dushyant asks why she is laughing and she replies that Dushyant doesn't look like he is Hastinapur's next king. Dushyant gets a little angry and his sister asks why he wants to see Shakuntala. They then have a talk about getting married and their jeevan sathi
Shakuntala tries to clean the powder off her face, whilst Gauri wants to play holi with others and Dushyant wants to see the Khel Pratiyogita. Gauri sits down in one place.
Dushyant sees Veer in the Khel Pratiyogita and Dushyant goes to fight him. The fight begins and so they have a little fight scene.
Veer tries to attach Dushyant and misses Dushyant pushes Veers over then Veer slaps his stick into Dushyant. Dushyant tries to attack Veer but Veer pushes his shield of him. Veer tries a circular attack and pushes the shield of Dushyant. Their sticks meet and Veer looses his shield. Veer tries jabbing Dushyant, then Veer uses Dushyant's stick to turn inwards and tries to jab Dushyant again, but unsuccessfully, Dushyant kicks Veer to the ground. They then walk in a part of a circle and they each try to hit each other with their sticks until Dushyant disarms Veer. Dushyant wins and Dushyant talks to Veer and they like each other so Veer asks him to be in his Sena, Dushyant promises him but says you have to show your worthy of it.
Rishivar has doubts about sending Shakuntala to the Mela and refuses to eat. He fears a "Badha" will enter in Shakuntala's life and worries about her future.
Dushyant comes back to Gauri and Dushyant lets Gauri see the Mela alone and Gauri sets off. Gauri looks at some stalls and Veer sees her and she sees him at another stall. Gauri runs away and Veer follows her. Gauri gets worried and hides and Veer looses sight of her. Gauri stays hidden and grabs a sword.
Veer takes out his sword and their swords and eyes meet. They have a sword fight and Gauri looks like shes quie good. She attacks Veer repeatedly and then they walk in a circulat motion. Gauri collapses but Veer saves her and they look into each others eyes.
Dushyant arrives and Gauri runs to her and tells him that she is being followed by Veer. Dushyant tells her that Veer was told to keep an eye on Gauri and Dushyant is happy with Veer and gives im the title of his Senapati.
Gauri gets angry and Veer asks for forgiveness and she runs off. Dushyant leaves for Hastinapur.
Shakuntala also leaves for the Ashram. They see a baby in the road and Dushyant approaches on his horse with his security. Shakuntala goes to save the baby and falls once saving the baby. The baby is then taken away ans Shakuntala can't see as everyone runs past kicking the dirt. Dushyant turns around to see the back of Shakuntala's head.
This is my first written update for Shakuntala, so forgive me if I did anything wrong and please be critical, I want to know so I can improve my written updates!
Plus I loved the fighting scenes, so sorry there is a lot on that!
