Ramblings about the show

When the show first started I thought for a change it wd be a mature one, which wd show the journey of a mother who hs been tortured n looked down by her children. N how she overcomes all the trials in her life to eventually fulfill her dreams. Rajshree Thakur wa dng wonderful on her part. 👍

Bt after she left the story completely downhill. I hv nthng against Rati. I hv been her fan since MJHT days n knw hw wonderful an actress she is. Bt the writers hv nt been doing justice to her character. Both KT n Preeti hv suddenly been turned into hormonal lovesick teenagers. N everyone seems to hv forgotten abt the venture "Shaadi Mubarak". 🙄

Hope the channel works on the show a bit more. 🙂

Everything aside.. there is nothing wrong with KeerTi being hormonal lovesick teenagers.. after all they have found true love after so long, for the first time in their life. I definitely don’t mind them being all lovey dovey and expressing that at all. There is nothing wrong with it 😛.

They are still showing SM office and them getting contracts and all if you are watching the show. They are shown going to office, meeting up clients.. however of course they haven’t gone all out and shown weddings and stuff.. which I guess they can’t always show. Maybe budget issues.

Anyway!! I agree that the show has diverted into something else and current track is definitely not that good.. All track before the current one were pretty decent and ended well. Even I am iffy and irritated with the current track. Only watching KeerTi scenes, and Ofcourse for manav and Rati

The show went downhill when Nandini track / marriage track happened. It became a saas bah show then for a short while

Now the show has lost its soul. They could have just made Preeti infertile or having any other issue where a surrogate was needed. Why cancer? You don’t recover from something like that fully. Also the CV are doing a terrible job at showing someone dealing with cancer, the horrible side effects of all meds etc. Preeti prances around looking all glamorous like nothing is wrong with her

And don’t get me started on the new entry. What a mockery they are making of this topic. All surrogate mothers are some loud obnoxious child like women in these shows.

My mom still watches it so I see glimpses of it and get the gist. However I don’t watch the show anymore by choice ... just wait for it to be over so I can watch my shows lol

The Nandini track though necessary for showing KT's past n Preeti' marriage with him cd hv been dealt in a better manner.

I lost the show when I saw a 50yr old man that too a superstar prancing around on top of a bus declaring his love. Overdramatization wt its best. 🙄

I agree the show has turned onto a different unlikeable track but what's wrong with them falling in love and expressing as per their liking! Who said confessing love on a bus top is only for 20yr olds in a TV show? KT is a superstar, he's known for drama. And this is ITV, what else does anyone expect other than drama?

When it comes to KeerTi they've never gone overboard with their romantic scenes as well. Both of them have found love in each other at a very late stage in life. Love can be expressed irrespective of the age. Hormones can go overboard irrespective of the age IMO.

Coming to the track, I'm not liking it either. All I expect is KT getting to know about Preeti's cancer at the earliest and both of them fighting it out together. Want to see their emotional bonding. Of late KT has been very mature and sensible and I'm liking this change in him.

Talking about content, SM is still much better than other over the top dramas on SP and other channels. There's no saas-bahu drama here, no kitchen politics. KeerTi are even organising weddings. They can't show complete weddings as their main focus is KeerTi story and not what's happening in those weddings. We should not expect 'Made in Heaven' here. Both the shows are different, its quite clear from maker's side.

All i get to see is the sick mentality of some who cant accept any modernity. For them youth should have all the fun and middle age people should only act mature and sensible they cant be joyful, birdie or have a colorful nature. These people most probably expect mature couples to be the boring ones who cant be cool cant be stylish cant be hormonal or cant have different shade etc etc. This persepctive what we are carrying since god knows when is still running on and on. Calling them sick for doing so isn’t that forward thinking either

The way he treated Preeti & then kept saying he can’t love her to him being on top of a bus screaming his love for her ...that transition could have been handled better. It felt sudden and jarring and a flow was missing to it.

This new track is terribly handled so far in terms of surrogacy. The character is a literal knock off from another show.

the one thing I liked was KT telling Poorti that it’s his wife that’s pregnant also and is going through whatever she is. This is true and quite often forgotten in surrogacy. The ‘mother’ is also going through the similar emotions as the surrogate & needs to be acknowledged as part of the pregnancy.

just wish they had made another reason that Preeti couldn’t get pregnant. Aggressive cancer is serious and most people who have it have a shortened life span and chances of survival long term is low. It shouldn’t be shown in a frivolous nature where FL gets cured and life is happy again.

I beg your pardon if i hurted somebody by my words but i was just expressing my opinion just like how some others opines regarding the show or character. But this is not only about the TM i had seen many people on social media who does that, age shaming a man isnt forward thinking either thus i had to express it what i felt.

Phurti is a rubbish character and portraying a surrogate character like that is really disrespective to all the surrogate moms. I dont support this. I agree KT is being very sensible here and thats what we are expecting from him in future too. I wonder why they even to chose to bring this track because it wasn't necessary for the plot. Cancer is a very sensitive topic and i dont know how the writers will handle this topic but i am looking forward to it. I assume we will get to see some really depressive and heartbroken scenes.

It's just a show and I hv the right to post my opinions. I am nt happy with the way the chracter of the leads hv progressed, n have pointed out so.

U too certainly hv the right to post u'r opinions as well n it might differ with me. Bt calling out others "sick" or disrespecting them on a public forum in not done.

The protagonists of the show are fictional, bt the people here on the forum are very much real.

So plz consider once before u go n use such words which end up hurting people.

I am sorry once again maybe i got a little emotional or kinda overreacted but anyway i am gonna withdraw that word from my post and would request you not to take anything to heart. I didnt meant it for anybody specifically it generally came out but sorry.

I think because the current track is super crap everything seems dysfunctional in the story even their love track. just think about it in that way, if the track was bearable we would have been happy with the lovey dovey. I think honestly their lovey dovey (which is the only thing I watch) feels just out of place as their love-track went and happened too quick. We didn't even have time to enjoy their love because that Overacting-ki Murti Phoorti entered.

You don't need to feel bad about your thread and opinion. It's just as you said unbearable. I don't watch many serials now, since they are very saas-bahu ish so I was happy when Shaadi Mubarak started, but its now just cringeworthy. I sometimes feel there is no story so they just take things from this serial and this serial and there is no sense. I don't even bother to watch the repeat when I miss it-which means a lot. :/
