I ended up catching (with speed of 2X and skipping any stupid scenes) on with the show after seeing precap clip on Instagram where Prreti feels lucky to have two sons, one being Tarun.
As far as I remembered from this show before visiting gaanv track, preeti won challenge and went through lot of emotional turmoil thanks to ladla son - Tarun and seeing precap, I was intrigued to find out how did Tarun turn into sensible supporter of his mother after abusing so much.
To my disappointment, it was rather cliché to see him realize value of his mother just because she called police when he was being harassed by goons. A guy who never thanked his mother when she cared for him to arrange money selling her favorite stuff, he never respected her when she did not call police for tricking her into selling ancestral house, who could not see her pain when people blamed her for stealing suddenly turns into oh she loves me so much inspite of my wrong doing just because she called police? 🤣
Today he shut Rati up and blamed her for all HE did to preeti is highest level of misogyny on part of markers... Undoubtedly Rati has been one of the worse character in the show, manipulative, cunning (and stupid), and player but Tarun was always to be blamed equally.
Tarun shared same opinion about his mother as Rati, he sold ancestral home was his own idea, mocking Priyanka was his own action. He was an arrogant brat who has been whitewashed by CVs... I wanted him to value Preeti but it had to be through a process and part of development where he changes his thinking in general. I am extremely pissed off at CVs for handling Tarun's character so poorly.
