Online media has improved loads within the past 5 years. Be it for movies, songs, or even PR articles from the entertainment industry, they are all trying to appeal to the online viewers as much as they appeal to the general mass.

In fact, the song "Why This Kolaveri Di" became a rage because it was posted on Youtube and was accessible to millions across the globe!

Recently, the producers of the Telugu film "Nenokadinne" ran into conflict when the trailer was removed from Youtube. Though it got re-uploaded, Youtube still had not restored the original number of views which left the makers disappointed.

Even sites like Twitter and Facebook play a huge role in movie promotions. You would easily find many industry personalities on these sites promoting their work and upcoming events from time to time.

And it doesn't stop with just celebrities!

Let's say you watch a movie first day, first show and post a comment about it as your Facebook status or instantly tweet it on Twitter. Your verdict about the movie can impact others who were planning to watch it as well !

Access to movies and all information related to it just keeps getting easier !
But any success will always be met with equal criticism.

Some believe that online media is damaging the entertainment industry.

What do you think?
Has the online media helped our film industries grow?

I would say it has also helped but at the same time it has also led to the downfall of film industries.
You just need to to wait for one day after the release of the film and TORRENTZ uploads the movie you want.

Everything on Earth has both Pros and Cons...But it is us who makes thing it is!
I heard a bit about 'ONE' youtube scandle...where some ppl(refere: crazy fans) hypocritically did something which raised questions abt the transparency of online media!
There is a stong storm inside tollywood tat Producers of ONE movie 9Nenokkade)paid to Online hackers in small country like Thailand who would creat 1000 views in one minute for 5 Dollars😲 How sick one would go to this extreme!
With Tollywood immensely backing Online promotions for their moviespromotios ,they are facing tough time gulping this conspiracy.
It was not so long Attarintiki daredi created history by having 3 million views in 3 hours of teaser release...n made it most viewed video for any south indian movie.

But the unfolding of ONE conspiracy one would think twice b4 nodding to everything online media claims!
