Bala's Eriyum Thanal : First Schedule Wrapped

Known for taking at least two years to make a movie, Bala seems to be on a fast track as far as his forthcoming film, which is tentatively titled 'Eriyum Thanal', is concerned. For, the director has already completed its first schedule of shooting.

With Atharva and Vedhika playing the lead roles, the film is reportedly about the lives of fishermen in the southern districts of Tamil Nadu. Script is by popular writer Jeyamohan, who earlier worked with Bala in 'Naan Kadavul'.

Though the National Award winning director has been closely safeguarding the details about the film, we learn that Atharva has shed 10 kilos for his character in 'Eriyum Thanal'! Also, Vedhika is appearing in a tanned look.

Also, buzz is that Pooja, who was part of Bala's 'Naan Kadavul' earlier, is doing a crucial role in this film. Music is by GV Prakash Kumar, who is all excited about working for the first time with Bala.
