After Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad, (IIM-A) introduced a course last year under which students could take up the Rajinikanth starrer "Robot" as a case study, it's son-in-law and "Kolaveri Di" singer Dhanush's turn to follow him to the institute. The actor is all set to talk to students at IIM-A today.
"I'm basically going to talk about viral marketing and how "Kolaveri Di" happened. They contacted me 15-20 days ago to ask if I'd be able to come. And I said, 'Why not?' I don't see myself entering that institute in any other way!'" Dhanush told DT. And how about comparisons with pop-in-law's case study? "That's a much bigger deal. I'm just glad I'm going there and I will talk to the students. I'm not sure if I'm going to make any sense. I just want to put whatever good things I can in the students' minds about viral marketing. Of course, that's as long as they don't make me sing! If they insist, I might sing a few lines, but I don't want to make it a cultural programme."The song's composer, Anirudh Ravichander, is also accompanying Dhanush.
The duo has received much acclaim for the song, which became a nationwide rage online. Ask him for the gazillionth time if he'd ever anticipated it, and he says, "We made a song for a film. We're not going to question our blessings." And any nervousness about speaking to future management gurus, we ask, and he quips, "I don't have an image to live up to, so I'm not nervous at all!"
