Preeto leaves home upset. Rajbeer standing outside sees her and senses it. Bani is weeping in front of the police and says that she didn't steal,but only sold the phones. He retorts that its as big a crime to sell stolen goods and questions her further about the gang. She says she has no idea about it. He doesn't believe her. Just then Preeto arrives and she defends Bani saying that the phones are not hers but her friend, shalini's and Bani is innocent. So the officer tells her that Bani has already confessed to her crime. Preeto is shell-shocked hearing this. She asks Bani if its true. Bani continues to weep. The officer says that its because of the respect that masterji has that they haven't locked up Bani. And they might let her go if she helps the police in the investigations. Bani opens up to Preeto as well and the police lets her go giving her a warning just for the sake of masterji. Preeto thanks and leaves from there with Bani following her.
Mickey asks for a waste cloth to wipe grease and Dhruv offers to get it. Beeji gives him the directions to the terrace to get it. There he meets Ishu. He is left looking at her and Ishu calls out to him to break his reverie. She gives him the cloth and he turns to leave. But comes back just as she hangs up a dupatta. He tells that he has something to tell her. Ishu says that even she wanted to say something. He gets all excited but turns out that she was talking about returning the money that he had given Bani the other day. Dhruv says that he has already forgotten about it and wanted to say something else. When Ishu tries to slide the dupatta off from between them,he stops her saying that he may not have guts to talk to her directly. He then confesses about his love-at-first-sight to her. And says "I LOVE YOU". Ishu is in awe and speechless. He tells that she can have her time to reply back. He would come next day to help Mickey and if her answer is "no" she may not come in front of him and if she does come,he would take her answer to be "yes". Saying so,he leaves from there.
Preeto is coming out angrily from the station and Bani is trying to convince her of her innocence and asks to trust her. Hearing this, Preeto gives her a tight slap and says that she has trusted her enough despite seeing everything from her own eyes. She asks what was the reason that she had to stoop to such a level. Wasn't she provided with enough food to eat and clothes to wear?? Why she had to take a different route when she was taught to walk along the road between home and college?? Bani answers back that she is being given just 10rs per day out of which 8rs goes in traveling to and fro and just 2rs is left of which she cant even buy a samosa. She has clothes to wear but just a couple of pairs because of which she is known as 'hare neele kurte ki Bani' among her friends who wear designer clothes everyday. She taunts saying that there definitely was enough being provided to her. Preeto replies saying that she can see the 10rs per day but why cant she see how her Beeji affords to save that from the house account, she can see the delicious food of canteen but why cant she see the pain that beeji undergoes to cook food for her. A girl in a family is a big worry to the parents but despite having 5 daughters their father never showed even a tiny crease of worry on his forehead. And above all,why is she comparing herself to her friends. Whatever they spend per day is equal to how much their family of 7 spends per month. Why doesn't she compare herself to the sanskaar that their parents imbibed in her?? If she wanted money there were many other ways by which she could earn by honesty. In the process of seeing a world outside theirs,their Bani is lost in that world. saying so she leaves. (minblowing scene. This is a must watch of today's episode)
Rajbeer and Dhruv are sitting on the chaarpai while Mickey is working. Preeto and Bani arrive. Both are in a sullen mood. Rajbeer notices. Beeji invites everyone for food but both Bani and Preeto say they are not hungry. Bani goes to her room. Beeji asks Preeto to have Dhruv and Rajbeer's hands washed for the food. Preeto is still thinking about the police station happenings when Rajbeer comes forward. She is pouring water over his hands when he asks her whether she and Bani had a fight. She asks how did he know and he replies that he could sense it from their faces. When he asks the reason, she says that some people just don't reform their ways. He says that he doesn't want to know the reason but before we try to reform someone we have to understand that person. Preeto is left thinking about it.
