Meeta, Ishu, Preeto, Bani and Soni go to the Gurdwara. As soon as Meeta walks in the people start talking about her. One of the ladies inquires with about Meeta's alliance breaking. The other lady mentions that the fault must be with the girl that her alliance broke again. Meeta looks upset but Preeto puts her hand in Meeta's to offer her support. Ishu does the same and is joined by Bani and Sonu. All of the sisters walk hand in hand as they pay respects then sit down to listen.
The ladies behind them continues to gossip and Meeta upset tells Preeto that everyone is making fun of her and decides to leave. Preeto agrees and they all leave. Towards the exit they run into some other ladies who again talk about Meeta's alliance breaking. They inquire about Kanwaljeet, saying they feel bad for her. They ask where she is. Saroj Chachi interrupts the conversation and says that Kanwal must be hiding her face at home, out of shame. She says she'd picked such a great boy for Meeta but they didn't care for the blessing. She goes on to say that from now on she's not going to bring any new alliance to their family. She tells them that now that the Meeta's relationship didn't get fixed none of their daughters will be married and when they have five single daughters sitting at home, then their parents will regret their actions.
Preeto consoles Meeta and says whatever happened at their home they don't need to explain to anyone. They know they did the right thing and no one else has the right to question their actions. Saroj Chachi taunts Preeto saying that she shouldn't be the one speaking as she roams around freely, without any care all around the city. She's allowed freedom to do as she pleases, because her parents have no earnings of their own and live off of her so they can't tell her anything. Preeto goes to protest but Meeta stops her and tells Preeto not to say anything. She says she had said before, that she didn't want to come. Meeta urges for them to leave.
As the sisters are leaving, Saroj Chachi tells them it is better for them to leave as they no longer will be able to show their faces around here and that no one will open the door for them. Preeto stops and turns. Meeta holds Preeto's hand to stop her but Preeto shakes her head and walks back. She is followed by her other sisters. Preeto says that what her mother did was right so then why are they knocking her down. She says her mother saved her sister's honor so how can that bring her honor down. She says that a mother is more important than God for most people and today in the house of God they're putting a mother down.
She turns to one of the ladies, named Parminder and asks her if she would shut the door on their faces when her kids has grown up with them and Meeta as a child has spent so many memories at her house. Then she turns to the others and talks to them about how they've been tied to their childhood and have been helped by Kanwal and her family and today they will turn them away when they did no wrong. Preeto says that Saroj Chachi brought someone like Bobby Singh to their house, someone who had no shame. She says if they want to close their doors, they can but she knows that God's door is always open and he sees all and he won't let them live in such injustice. Preeto takes her sister and leaves but is stopped by Parminder Aunty, and the other ladies and they say that they all are with her. They say all will be well.
Saroj Chachi isn't happy and curses the others but another elderly lady tells her to be quiet. She goes up to her and tells her that she needs to stop gossiping ill things and needs to leave all matters about Bobby Singh alone. She says that being a woman she doesn't understand a woman's pain. She says that because Saroj Chachi has no maternal feelings is why God never gave her kids. She tells her to be happy and not to speak ill of the girls. Saroj Chachi calls the girls liars. Preeto takes the bag of shagun and hands it to Saroj Chachi and tells her to return it to Bobby Singh. The elderly lady tells Saroj Chachi that these girls are very cultured and honest. All of the other ladies agree and they all leave.
Preeto tells Meeta that these are all like family, but Meeta is still not convinced and says that they've had enough drama for the day and walks away upset telling all of them to head home.
Meeta reaches home upset and her father informs her that her mother, Kanwal, just left. He notices Meeta is upset and inquires about all of the others. The other sisters walk in with Preeto leading. Preeto walks in and asks Meeta what happened. Meeta says how she can ask that when she noticed how they all were making fun of her. She had told them she wouldn't go out of the house but was forced to go. Gagan looks at Preeto who indicates that she will talk to Meeta. Preeto tells Meeta that she admits that Saroj Chachi was talking nonsense but the others were there for them, and they understood their pain.
Meeta says that they pitied them but didn't empathize with them. None of them would understand their pain. She says she knows that she is fat and has no luck when it comes to relationship. She says she's stopped believing in dreams, because one who doesn't have the looks cannot have the right to dream. Gagan consoles his daughter and tells her that one doesn't stop walking because they've hit a roadblock. Meeta says one or two roadblocks is okay but she if one hits roadblocks in every step then it is better not to walk. She says she's done. She says her dreams might break but her family suffers. She says she no longer will wait for someone to come for her. She says her marriage age is passed but she won't let her sisters go unmarried. She tells her father to look for a groom for Ishu.
Ishu protests and says that the first bride from this house will be Meeta but Meeta says she's accepted that she will never get married. She says she will no longer dream of a groom for herself. She runs away. Preeto tries to chase her but Gagan stops his daughter and tells her that Meeta needs to be alone for a little while as she won't see anyone's reasoning now. He tells Preeto to allow sometime for Meeta. Preeto looks defeated.
Later Pankaj comes and asks Preeto what she's worried about and what she's thinking. He asks her if she's in love. Preeto tells him that the only love she has is for her sisters. Pankaj asks her what happened and tells her he hasn't talked to Meeta as of yet. Preeto tells him that Meeta is in a bad mood since they came back from the Gurdwara and it is better not to talk to her. Pankaj asks her what happened and Preeto narrates what happened to him. Pankaj consoles her and tells her all will be well even if it takes sometimes or doesn't feel like all is going well.
Preeto says that she knows what she has to do. She says she will find good boys for Meeta and Ishu. She says that her parents are nave and were easily conned by Bobby Singh. She says she will find a good boy, who is honest, hardworking, caring, and earns a decent income.
Somewhere else a biker in uniform, is driving down the road. His name is Rajbeer Singh. Pankaj asks Preeto if she has anything else to ask. He tells her she's given God a great task as boys like that are hard to come by. Preeto she has faith a boy like that exists, and she knows that a boy like that will come.
Rajbeer stops in the middle of the road when he notices a bunch of thugs harassing a couple by stealing the lady's purse. Rajbeer drives up to them and catches the purse, and beats up the thugs. He pulls of his helmet.
