I saw this long awaited reality show SJ today and my take is that this is the best reality show ever on Star Plus. It really reaches out to the core issues facing our Indian society.
Hats off to you Aamir Khan.
It was really very touching to hear girl fetus being aborted. I am from Fiji where my greatgrandparents made it home after being taken by the British in 1890s. I am told that they to have a girl child had 11 sons in the process when they were finally blessed with a girl [my grandma] . I have stayed in Fiji till I was 10 and my tells me that there were hardly any case of killing the unborn girl child.
I think Aamir Khan is doing a perfect job. We as individuals should change our thoughts ,our approach and then we try and change others. First thing and last ---- WE NEED TO EDUCATE OUR MALE FOLKS -- ESPECIALLY THE DOCTORS CAN TEACH THE MALE WORD BY WORD THAT IT IS THEM WHO DECIDE THE SEX OF THE UNBORN NOT THE FEMALES. REMEMBER THE 'Y' CHOROMOSOME COMES FROM THE MALE ONLY ,IF THE 'Y' CHOROMOSOME IS SLOWER THAN THE 'X' CHOROMOSOME OF THE MALE IN FERTILISING THE 'X' CHOROMOSOME OF THE FEMALE THEN WHY BLAME THE FEMALE FOR CARRYING A GIRL FETUS?
IT IS NOT THE SOCIETY IT IS THE MALES WHO NEED TO BE TOLD THE TRUTH.
