Chapter 3
Siddhant who was thinking about the dream for long realised he is getting late as he need to go to Railway station to pick up his friend. His friend Rohan who was his school met shifted to Chennai two years back as his father got a transfer. Now as Rohan was not interested in studying his college in Chennai, he took admission in same college of Siddhant and coming from Chennai to Delhi on that day.
Siddhant took a shower swiftly and got ready in few minutes. He rushed towards his car and started from his house to railway station. All the way the dream was engaging his mind, but he decided to think on that again with his friend once he return to his house. After few minutes of drive, he reached the railway station and parked the car in the parking area.
Siddhant rushed towards the platform and checked on the board which platform number is indicating for that train from Chennai and found it is 3. Siddhant moved towards platform 3 and right at that time, the announcement were going on in the loud speaker that the train is about to enter the station shortly..
Siddhant checked with some one and located the place where B2 compartment will be arriving and stand exactly on that place. He was eagerly waiting for his friend who he is seeing after almost 2 years.
The train slowly entered into the platform and started occupying its slot in that platform fully giving happiness to friends & relatives who were waiting for the train which is carrying their someone or the other for whom they were waiting for...
Rohan with a smile got down of the train as 1st person in the compartment. Rushed towards his friend Siddhant like a kid and dropped the bag down for sharing hug with him after almost 2 years.
Rohan express 'Siddhant, How long went seeing you my friend!!!'
Siddhant replied 'Yes Rohan, I was missing you badly all these days'
When they were sharing their enquires the other passengers from the compartment were getting down one by one. Those passengers took out their huge luggages which they kept on the door of the train blocking the way. Once all the baggages were cleared from the way & after almost the compartment was empty...
The girl came to the door carrying her 2 bags one on her shoulders & 1 on her hand. She was wondering seeing the new place and thinking how to get down carrying both heavy bags with her while the height gap between the train entrace & platform seems to be frightening her as she is not used for train travels much...
Siddhant who was standing few feets away talking to Rohan noticed the girl and was mesmerized by her beauty. He observed her from head to toe for a whle. He acknowledged that though not wearing any jewels, she was glittering. Though travelled long way to Delhi, her face was not showing any tiredness. Her innocent face revealed she is new to the place...
Siddhant passed his conversation with Rohan with 'Execuse me Rohan' and moved towards her. He forwarded his hands to take the luggage from her..
The girl widened her eyes on seeing some stranger forwarding his hands towards her and took two steps backward..
Siddhant explained 'Dont worry, just came to help you. Give the luggage to me and get down'
The girl with some sort of hesitation was looking into his eyes whether he is believable person to give this bag to him and also afraid what if he run away carrying her bag. But then she reconcile her thoughts that the person is not looking as if doing such acts as well as other than her dress nothing is there in the bag which can be useful for him to take away..
Siddhant was wondering what she is thinking this much for justing giving the bag to him and look into her eyes with a query. He was thinking whether to try to help her or not for the one who is hesitating so much as if he is trying to pull her hands...
When he was about to take back his forwarded hands, the girl step forward and gave the bag to Siddhant. He took the bag from her and kept it in the platform and turned towards her again to see whether she is having any more luggages..
The girl was looking at the height of the platform from the train now and was thinking how to get down whether to jump directly to platform or to keep the legs in the small steps like in the train for few inches to help the passenger to get in & out...
Siddhant was unable to hold him from helping her and went towards her again and forward his hands. This time the girl was feeling very awkward on how to give her hands now to hold a stranger. Atleast bag is ok, but how can she forward her hands to him. She was looking at him puzzled...
The girl facing down said 'I will manage' and tried to get down keeping her right leg on the steps like in the trian while her slipper made her slip and Siddhant who was standing near hold her hips with his arms to rescue her from falling down. Now she got down slowly from the train and tried to stabilise her standing in the platform.
The girl after coming out of the shock of falling down realised now that the stranger to whom she was hesitating to give the hands is now holding her hips and looking at her face very close. Siddhant too realised that he is still holding her and took his hands immediately...
The girl said 'Thanks' facing down and took her bags and moved towards the exit way of the station to continue her journey...
