I liked today's episode for it felt exactly right to see everyone's reaction after the divorce.. Whole day has passed and everyone is still thinking about it.. Mataji was so right from her point of view.. Roli to do something like this is unexpected and shocking.. Siddhant trying to be normal but still not being able to get over it and refusing to have food, everyone trying to show support for him. Just perfect..
The best part was Simar finally acting on her suspicions and taking matters in her hands.. What took her so long :D Mata rani had to come to make her realize that.. Just bad serial promotion stunt i would say.. If they had not planned about this, i am sure Simar would have been on her plan well before now.. Anyways, its better late than never.. She executed perfectly and got things out of mausiji.. Both of them had perfect reaction all along and was really happy with the scene. Enjoyed their conversation to fullest..
when mausiji is questioned about where was she all day, she so well tried to lie about her whereabouts, but simar pretended to know and mausiji gave perfect reaction then... The shock of it was so much that she forgot to ask how she came to know and all she could do was put her hands on her head and feel frustrated.. The way she takes simar away from everyone and talks about the plan, unknowingly informing simar about the plan, it was briliant. She didnt know then about Simar's pretense .. She was just happy that she can now share the plan with someone, worry about roli together, there is one more helping hand in this difficult plan and above all one less person who will not be on roli's side.. Mausiji has acted really really well here and so has simar.. The shock when Simar gets to know to what great lengths roli went just for the family, even when she knew all along that roli isnt what she is showing to be, was real.. Its one thing to believe, and one thing to realize the extent beyond which this whole thing goes.. And if that is your small sister who you have always felt like protecting, it just adds that much more to the fire.
The fear, about plan getting revealed to everyone, that mausiji showed through her facial expressions, actions and dialogs was spot on... While it is so easy to just go and inform about the plan to everyone, its not the right thing to do.. And this time that came out properly justified.. And for the first time i thought the whole plan was properly justified too.. Esp how roli is going to get the property from veeru... Given how possessive veeru is over roli, it isn't hard to believe.. So the blurring about the plan i had all along, esp the part about how getting things in veeru's name is helping, was cleared out today.. Oh and how simar forgetting about everything just kept worrying about roli... That's what i expected from her... Mausiji kept reminding her to keep it down, but she is roli's sister and so worried for her and that came out perfectly.
The helplessness mausiji showed about this whole situation, esp about the divorce and wanting to make everything right after the plan succeeds, simar showing confidence in that's exactly would happen, was shot so well too.. And how Simar questions about why was this not revealed earlier to the family and how mausiji justifies that.. Made complete sense..
Though there were lot of flashbacks today too, I think today they were used perfectly.. And not lingered on, so made right impact esp with Simar and mausiji's reaction to go along.. I think they were balanced amazingly and added depth to the scene..
Overall as you can see i would rate this episode as one of the best in weeks... And that's something esp when we hardly got to see Roli or siddhant in the episode.. It would be interesting to see now Simar and Roli conversation and how simar helps roli in all this. Story is finally moving forward. Hoping this pace continues :)
