'A camera in your hand gives you more perspective'
TV actor Manish Raisinghania is a creative man. Not only is he interested in acting (naturally!) but he has also developed a passion for photography. "I blame my innate sense of curiosity, for getting me hooked on to photography," says Manish, whose love for gadgets led him to cameras and photography.
Manish Raisinghania"Photography just happened coincidentally. When my TV show Rang Badalti Odhni ended, I planned a vacation and bought a professional DSLR camera for the trip. But the trip never happened and the camera stayed with me," says Manish, who then bagged a part in Sasural Simar Ka and began clicking pictures on the set, in his free time.
It was the picture of his co-star Avika Gor that got his skill noticed. "I clicked a photo of Avika's face and her hands which I later merged on Photoshop. It turned out to look great and got instant reactions from friends, family and fans," claims Manish. This was all the encouragement he needed to work harder on his skill. He soon started looking up various websites to work on his techniques.
Manish, who currently uses a Canon 550D camera, feels that every picture is a learning experience for him.
"With each snap I learn what works and what doesn't. A camera in your hand gives you perspective, you look at people, views and everything else in between, differently," he says.
