The promos of the show were brilliant,but Sasural Simar Ka however didnt start off too well in terms of the ratings it generated.Not ones to give up,the makers of the show put in their best and sometime later during Simars wedding track,the serial started grabbing eyeballs and became one of the top shows.But it soon started slipping again.The latest is that two of its actors Abhishek Sharma aka Sankalp and Kanchi Singh aka Cherry have quit the show,unhappy with their roles.Actor Manish Raisinghanis entry as Avikas love interest too hasnt worked,not as yet at least.Actually,we wonder if audiences are willing to see Avika as a young woman,because its just too close to her Ballika Vadhu days,where she played a child bride.And yes,last but not the least,the protagonist Simar (Dipika Samson) too seems to have lost her charm.She looked prettier and young in her premarriage track.Guess its the saree look or is it that little extra weight thats a problem Hmmm...
