Maryada, Pratigya, Sasural under scrutiny
Buzz is that Star Plus three prime-time shows including Sasural Genda Phool, Maryada - Lekin Kab Tak and Man Ki Awaz Suno - Pratigya are under scrutiny. The three serials have been doing poorly on the ratings scale –– though Sasural... in between had improved slightly. Apparently, the channel has many new shows in the pipeline waiting for slots. While March 31 will see Jo Jeeta Wohi Superstar going on air, another show by J.D. Majethia too is expected to be scheduled shortly. However, with IPL 5 around the corner, it remains to be seen whether the channel will go in for new launches now or wait till the tournament gets over and give some breathing space for the above mentioned serials.
